April's Loyola Story

April came to Loyola University Maryland from her hometown in New Jersey with a passion for connecting with others. This made a communication major with specializations in advertising/public relations and digital media a natural fit. Her college experience at Loyola University Maryland-including her involvement with Loyola’s student newspaper and television studio-has helped her find community and personal fulfillment, hone her skills, and forge a career path. Her semester spent studying abroad in Rome, Italy, provided further journalism experience, opportunity for travel, and life-changing perspective.
