The Pelicans are playing great, but let's not forget that the game boogie went down , they were on a 5 game win streak, finally coming to stride , playing against the rockets , and they beat them and were the first and 1 of only 3 teams all year to beat the rockets with harden, cp3, and capela playing together. imagine this team , with boogie cousins, and Anthony Davis ( the best western Conference player not in the warriors ) against the warriors who's biggest weakness is big man, with the Pelicans having 2 of the best big man in the league, +all NBA defender jrue Holliday +playoff rondo , it would have been a hell of a series , or maybe we could have gotten them to play okc in the 2nd round , their rivals with Westbrook , and pg , but of course with the warriors luck they play the Spurs without kawhi , they wont have to face okc , they will once again play another team in the playoffs without one of the best players in the league ( cousins ) and as an nba fan It's an absolute shame .
