Been loving your reaction and analysis to their music, fun to see a new fan. I highly recommend some of their older stuff of when they were highly experimental with their music, I feel a lot of it gets looked over. A really great one being “Trust Fall” from their singles collection EP. Would be great to see your reaction.

Not sure if anyone has explained this already. So most of the time when someone does Harsh Vocals they are doing it at regular singing volume. Its a manipulation of your vocal folds in your larynx. You use that with your diaphragm to get your power. There is alot of vocalists that do scream loud but most of them are only doing it at regular singing volume.
(Been a metal vocalist for 15 years)

I can tell you for a fact she’s got very little to no strain on her vocal chords. Most of the time when she steps away from the mic is so the mic doesn’t pick up her breathing unnecessarily.
