    They are joined in conversation by David Buick and Kelley Stoltz

    Will Sergeant celebrates "Bunnyman: Post-War Kid to Post-Punk Guitarist of Echo and the Bunnymen"

    Robert Gillespie is a Scottish musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is best known as the lead singer, founding member, and primary lyricist of the alternative rock band Primal Scream. He was also the drummer for The Jesus and Mary Chain in the mid-1980s.
    influential guitarist of some note at the very least.
    Will Sergeant is best known for his work as songwriter and guitarist with Echo & The Bunnymen with whom he has recorded and performed world-wide for thirty years. He also has long-term ties with the experimental side of life, in the fields of performance, recording and the visual arts. He has produced solo and collaborative works since the 1980s, His first major solo art show ‘My Own Worst Enemy’ debuted at the Liverpool Penny Lane Gallery in 2011 and at the Substrate Gallery in Los Angeles, California, 2012.
    Dave Buick lives, works and plays in Detroit. A lifetime music nerd, he started releasing records on his own Italy Records in 1997. In 1998 he released the first 2 7” singles by a new and barely known Detroit 2 piece, The White Stripes and began a decades long friendship and working partnership with Jack White. He has played bass in The Go, Belle Isle (Lost Kids), Wolfman Band and Feelings. He officially became a part of Third Man Records family when they opened up their Detroit location in 2015. His business card says ROMANTIC COMEDIAN but he primarily works on reissues and new releases. Will and Bobby have been huge inspirations since he was first turned on to them in the 1980s.
    In a career spanning 23 years and 17 albums, Kelley Stoltz has become synonymous with home recorded, one man band works of high quality in the pop, rock, garage and folk traditions.He has released albums with storied labels such as Sub Pop, Third Man and Castleface. He played rhythm guitar in Echo & the Bunnymen for several years, as well as appearing as a sideman with Rodriguez, Sonny & the Sunsets and Robyn Hitchcock. He has produced or engineered albums for thee Oh Sees, the Mantles, the Fresh & Onlys and many more. He operates his Electric Duck Studio and Chuffed Records label out of his home in San Francisco. He is a Virgo.

    Miami here and far removed from the UK scene other than my records and watching music videos. Thank you for posting. Very interesting. Love the (acid) titles of book chapters :)
