Have you seen increased success switching to the Ziss in tsnk boxes vs. The Marina HoB boxes?
Also called "blood reds" because of a more reddish color as the 397's are commonly called "tangerine tigers" for the more orange coloring.
I might have to snag some of those L306 once you hatch and grow some out!
I found a local guy 15 minutes from me that has a huge colony of cherry shrimp and will be making a visit to get some this week.
I use a stainless steel tea filter (i remove the handle) with the backer rod ring and wild/cull neos to clean my eggs, works well
Poly filter is awesome. I’ve been doing the same for many years. Great stuff👍

Both work fine. I’ll explain my preference, and why, in an upcoming livestream or video.
I just got an order with two BL-2 breeder boxes and was on the fence because I don’t know which one is better. I’m sure they both serve a purpose in different situations and fish.

You ever salt dip your plecos ? For external parasites and stress ruducer ? Also i stay away from chola wood and small plecos. They will some how find a way into the wood and get stuck. Its happened a few times to me. Same thing with those sponge filters with hold in the middle. There spike get stuck in the foam. Cheers tom , put a piece of Malaysian wood in. Its better for them…
I’ve heard Malaysian driftwood is better and mopani is too hard for wood eaters to rasp on. Still learning!
