  • This is a LiveEdit recreation of Netherlands' "Europapa" entry in Eurovision 2024 by Joost Klein.
    LiveEdit is the software used for automatic camera switching during the Eurovision broadcasts. In previous years (2013-2023), CuePilot was used instead.

      @Alec15 Yeah I think all the camera switches are programmed. Poor operator if that isn't the case 💀

    Something that went unnoticed in the end was the blue bird falling flat 🥀 while the piano man was rocking the guitar! 🎸

    It would be cool to make a video talking about the location of all these different cameras and any info you might have about the video process.

    What happens if one of the cameras fails for a reason, are you going to switch the cameras live?

    • @DimitrisSartzetakis
      @DimitrisSartzetakis  Před 13 dny +2

      Yes, the director can manually override this

    • @mepurionus
      @mepurionus Před 12 dny

      LiveEdit connects to Producer to control compatible switchboard (look up Blackmagic ATEM Constellation), in case any camera is going to fail, it'll be overridden by button on that particular switchboard.

    not really how CutPilot are used. The cus are for notes not camera despriction. That is what the numbers are for.

    • @DimitrisSartzetakis
      @DimitrisSartzetakis  Před 13 dny +1

      I know that, but I think it’s obvious that I’m not in a position to guess what these notes (shot description) actually write. For songs that I know them I have added them (Switzerland and Croatia). For the rest as you pointed out I’ve used them to explain to viewers which camera is which (I think it’s better than leaving them empty) :)

    • @DimitrisSartzetakis
      @DimitrisSartzetakis  Před 13 dny +1

      It’s not 2D though as it moves in 3 axes, unlike the past two years :) even on the production’s LiveEdit app was mentioned as “3D-SYSTEM”. So I chose the term spidercam as it’s most widely known to describe 3D cable cams
