  • The transformer is the result of various experiments and inventions in the race for the development of electricity. The transformer as a concept has its beginning in 1876 where a Russian engineer Pavel Yablochkov invented a lighting system based on a pair of induction coils, where a first coil was connected to an alternating current source and the secondary coil was connected to the current system. illumination
Now, what Pavel invented was possible thanks to the continuous improvements in the induction coils invented by the Irishman Nicholas Joseph Callan in 1836. These induction coils are based on the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction discovered by the British physicist and chemist Michael Faraday in 1831, who devoted his career to the study of electromagnetism and electrochemistry.
In this video we will explain how was the emergence of this important device for the transformation of the modern world

Y dónde está el crédito que se merece el ingeniero Nikkola Tesla?? El fué contratado por Westinghouse e implementó el sistema de corriente alterna ,lo cual revolucionó la distribución de electricidad
