  • The first part of Pisang Peak (19,984') (6091m) is the acclimatization trek through beautiful rural villages along the Annapurna Trekking route. The route has been widened by the Nepal government to accommodate motor vehicles, however I only experienced about 5 cars per day using the road so it maintains its quiet nature as you pass through the most dramatic mountains on earth. Some peaks site over 16,000 vertical feet above the valley such as Annapurna II. The journey started in Tal, visiting the Tal Waterfall, and continued for several days up to Pisang Village at 3200 meters, and Upper Pisang at 3200 meters with the monastery at 3300 meters. This video is part one of two. It is a quiet hiking video with no narration as I feel narration and english words often ruin the full cerebral experience of landscape photography/video.
