He has done his duty impeccably for England, without any controversies that I can remember, so his retirement is much deserved.

Don't know if anyone noticed but the ball speed to Herath was clocked at 91.5mph by the OLDER jimmy. Thats bloody amazing. And remember he has the most CB/W of any pace bowler so he is still bloody accurate.
He started with trying to be an express pace bowler but changed his way by changing his action to suit swing bowling more, lost the pace but got the swing, everyone now and then he can throw some gas but it ain't good for his body
@@neerajnongmaithem392 No he was a swing bowler when he first came. England coaches obsession with pace made him change his action and he lost his swing. Around 2008 he reworked his action to his natural one with his coach and then he became the bowler he is today
