I remember Robo (formally of the Fwoosh) talking about the Turtles of Greyskull a few weeks ago and I thought they were interesting. Although, since I collect neither Turtles or He-Man, I quickly forgot about them. I do have to say that you finding them has kind of made me more interested. I think Leo and Don look fantastic. Maybe I'll just get the Turtles, as the rest of the line will probably pegwarm sadly. But that just means more Ross finds for later!

My rule of thumb, and it’s served me well: If I don’t want it bad enough to lock it down at full price when it first comes out, I don’t need it. It does sting a bit if I see it on clearance at half price a couple of months later, but I’ll take that over the space that clearance finds take up in my collection and the hassle of having to unload them at some point.
not a bad way to look at it. I do have things I'm willing to pay full price for absolutely, but if I can get a deal, not gonna pass it up. and yeah the whole ross "holy crap its cheap grab it!", yeah I fell for it hard!
I was in Wisconsin last weekend in the Kenosha area I need to check the local target...Ross was pretty clean.
I did scored some good vhs at Saint vincent and Paul....
That's an ok thrift stop.. not usually a hotspot for vintage toys though

If I see toys all not organized on the shelves, I cant help it and I start putting them nicely! One time someone thought I worked at Walmart
I caught myself doing that today.. can't remember which one I was at.. but after I was done filming.. I found myself putting a few things in the right places... I've even in the past told employees where things went....

I don’t understand Walmart. Old figures that are never gonna sell and they never put them on clearance. I tried to buy a Maggot there like 5 months ago and they wouldn’t even match there own online price when I went to the register. They wanted full price. Now I got it at Ross.

I was collecting MOTU Origins just fine & then all of a sudden Mattel dropped a bomb on me. All of a sudden we have this Cartoon Collection & Turtles Of Grayskull shit. What the hell happened??? At SDCC they showed us characters like Extendar, Rokkon, Sy-Klone & Night Stalker but this Turtles shit is hitting first. And we still haven't heard anything about when Mattel Creations is gonna start selling the rest of the Vintage Collection. This is the most depressing thing that's ever happened to me as a toy collector & I've been collecting toys since 77.
But everybody else is fine with it. Just rollin right along. Ain't nuthin but a thang!
I think spring is when they'll start finishing origins.. they said they will finish all vintage.. so hopefully soon

that's a pretty subjective question honestly... too many factors there including nostalgia, collecting goals, budget, and scale preference. You have to ask yourself those questions just to start, before you figure out your personal "must haves"
