I think not having an automatic gearbox in 4x4 version its a huge mistake ☹️
That's the only thing that makes me not buying it. A few more thousand euros and I can buy a 4x4 with an automatic gearbox and a better interior.
Ordered mine , lpg 1.0 Extreme trim
4 disc brakes only with electric handbrake
Good review
Great choice 👌Can’t wait to test it to 😁
I need it!! I can't wait to buy it!
It is great 👍
Seems strange that the LPG version is the only one that hasn't been made available for review, especially considering that for certain countries it will represent the majority of sales...
I will receive it soon and i will test it in a few videos 😁 Coming soon
@@SDADanCars thanks for the update, looking forward to watching that review! Would be good to see that engine's level of noise, the GPL real-world consumption, the trunk space and how good of a fit it is to the car in terms of acceleration, speed etc
Hey there. Kudos for your videos! Is there by any chance to demonstrate in more detail the Arkamys 3D sound system (volume, bass)? Cheers
I will try to find it 😁👍 and make a video
How about the safety tests? Is there an update from 3* Ncap on Duster 2? Good review!
I remember the first time I drove my new Duster 2022 Prestige, I loved it, but I did feel a back end movement when cornering, is that what you are referring to? I guess I must have got used to it as I don't feel it now....
The best mass market car of the 21st century!!! after Renault Logan. excellent review.😂😂
Thanks 🙏😁Indeed
I know that your test of Suzuki S-Cross was some time ago, but how would you compare S-Cross against new Duster? They seem to be in similar price category now (if you look at top trims)
Dan, nice review, but I was hoping that you do a LED lights test, as you do with other cars. Is it possible for you to make a pov night drive test of the Duster?
Yes i did it already 😁 The videos will come soon are on edit 👍
Thanks, looking forward
It looks amazing! But I have a serious question as a potencial buyer: Why there is no 4x4 version with automatic gearbox? Why we have to make a compromise with one of the choices?
4x4 with Automatic would be a game over indeed
4x4 automatic? What's next, the car drives itself and you have to do nothing?
❤❤❤
Does anyone know what the “following distance” feature in the “comfort” setting does? It sounds like adaptive cruise control, doesn’t it?
It will show you on the digital cockpit the distance from the front car in seconds.. sadly it is not acc
Incredible motor for the price and looks very good, very masculine I am sure it will be a smash hit for years to come.
👍
It looks. Only😮
👏
Glad it's a manual.
is the armrest in all versions adjustable?
I´m waitung for my LPG expression to be build and ready, so I really like to see a similiar in depth test beforehand... :)
Yea i will do LPG soon 😁👍 i think it is
@@SDADanCars Could you confirm the adjustable armrest is only in manual handbrake versions?
Electrical Parkingbrake is non-adjustable!?
Thanks for your videos and making it a little easier to wait for my new duster.
My next car :)
Nice 👌
I rather wait until all the extras are available before ordering. So far the winter plus package with heated windshield is missing in action.
True 👍 They should come to and they are very useful
It might never be available in countries with mild weather.
Que opinas del motor del duster de tres cilindros de 130cv. 4/2 lo ves fiable o no .saludos
Hard to say in long time … but i think it should be ….
@@SDADanCars gracias
1.0 LPG Please!
Will come very soon 👍👍
I love the design and the functional aspects of the interior , but man this small engine for the 4x4 and the consumption is a buzz kill for me.
When are you gonna test drive the brand new hyundai tucson 😅
When they give me the car 😁 i hope in a few days
Tu ai reinventat limba engleză. Pe bune.
👌
yo dan.. guess you posted the wrong description to this video
Thanks alot for info 🙏 My editor mistake… i write him now to fix it 👍
456 liters is pretth good for a SUV with that price
Yes 👍
I wonder why Dacia changed the tyre's size and did not keep the same of the previous model. In 215/60/18 there are NOT AT ALL options for off-road tyres, in 215/65/17 there are only a few, only in 215/70/16 there is a satisfactory variety. The previous model used 215/60/17 where there is a great variety in off-road tyres and price affordable... Why really ???
You are not forced to take it in 18. It's an option.
It comes with 17, but you will only see review with the 18 because 99% of reviewer just want it to look Nice and are litterally never gonna do off road.
It does look Nice tho, mine comes in décembre and I picked the 18 too. I will buy à set of 16 for when I need to do the real stuff
in Germany will be Full Hybrid, not "mild" one, Thank god
Yes 👍 will be both
both versions will be on sale in Germany, but the full hybrid is not available with 4X4. but it does have automatic transmission. which the 4x4 doesn't have.
tow limit?
1500kg
@@SDADanCars tankyou!
Love everytning , but the 1.2. Very unreliable stelantis
I heard they upgraded those engines in 2021. Dont know if they are ok now.
Is not the same as Stelantis
@@SDADanCars well no excuse not to buy it then
@@SDADanCars a yes I guess I was talking about puretech engine
@emanuelferreira6875 the infamous 1.2 4 cylinder of 2012 was a real mess and the case is still in court for Renault.
But here it's à bra d new 3 cylinder that equip the Renault Arkansas and Austral I think, it's not the same motor. Although i's pretty new, so there is no proff it is good, there is no reason to be worried either.
In fact it is supposed to be an ecologic version of the 1.3 tce that came after the bad 1.2, but with mild hybrid tech to compensate the loss of power
Am bani de mă enervează
👍
MG HS !!! no buy Duster !!! - to expensive for so much plastic.
MG - 4 cylinder, more power ! more waranti, more space, more style&confortable interior, in general MORE Coality
3 cylinder engines have more torque on lower rpm compaired to 4 cyl. engines,
if they have the same cylinder capacity. 4 Cyl = more moving parts + higher rpm = more wear and tear, and 3 cyl are cheaper to produce. Thats why they do it
@@caseo8592 my guy...shut up. Torque is given by the relation between the engine and the gear box, has nothing to do with all the bullsh you wrote there. and higher RPM on 4 cil?!? huh? dafuq you getting this crap from?!? Just...don't.
It's...kind of crap. honestly. The engine is AGAIN waay too small, those tires....will soon be illegal in EU - no more all season (because they are, again...crap), no possibility tp have a full hybrid on 4X4, no possibility to have automatic shifter. I'm sorry...people say it's cheap...huh?!? It's expensive for what it offers. The off-road capability has gone to sht. with the new model, parts are about 25-30% more expensive. And excuse me but I have to return to the engine...plug-in hybrid - cancels autonomy in off-road, forces you to pay for electric also, it charges as sow as the Spring, I mean...really?!? 27500 eur for this? nah...plenty other options ...even new cars: WV T-roc - 26k, Puma - 24k, Kona 23k, Leon - 26k, Focus 25k, X-ceed 25k, Mazda Cx30 - 26k, Tucson - 26k, Mokka - 23k, to name a few. The car is a fail for what it is, in the price range. And compared to the models mentioned before, parts are at the same cost, only harder to get since parts are ALWAYS an issue for Dacia. Then, we have the media system - a cheap and old Renault version, cheap and glitchy software, no real Android auto or Apple Carplay, it's a Renault hybrid solution and again, it's crap. The material in the interior makes you sweat like a mf, windows are STILL not UV treated, so everything gets very, very hot inside, I could go on for an hour but I'm just about sick of it. So, stop being a fanboy when you review cars, be objective and perhaps people will trust you. But I guess Renault keeps it's partners happy, instead of directing that money to better their cars.
I'm not impressed by the design. It seems to me that the previous version was much more interesting.
then go buy the old one
I disagree on this one...the design is probably the only thing they got right on this version, in my opinion.
