It seems to me the nails are being hit the same way each time, a more accurate title might be "4 ways to position a nail"

screws are not always recommended and sometimes a nail does it better
They have different characteristics and as such different usages.
Use screws, Easier with a good drill :)
Try to screw in every shingle on your roof
Wimpy swings. At the most It should 2 taps to set and 5 swings to drive a damn framing nail.
if you put shingle nails in that spot, just call a pro.. that is just so very wrong..
Yes: the nailing strip is to seal the driven nail hole in the shingle. Also, that is just face nailing, and then covering it with something else, (but good definition of the term). A better illustration is nailing in a shiplap.
If you have to be shown those four methods for driving nails,you shouldn't own a hammer!
