"Fitting Reply" is not correct. They are not political leaders... Only that Mam and Captain Sahab asked him right questions. UPSC like candidates who do not get intimidate....
And that rate card thing was absolutely correct.

In actual interview he got 201, which is considered to be excellent marks, this year interview highest being 215,

भाई आपने हर सवाल का जवाब बेबाकी से दिया, दृष्टि पर भी देखा मैंने,, ये सब तो board members पर depend करता है ये उन लोगो को trap में घेरते है जो ज्यादा ही अव्वल दर्जे के विद्यार्थी हो,, ओर आप भाई उनमें से एक हो,, हर board member ऐसा नही होता कि जानबूझकर फसाए औऱ सिर्फ negative चीज़ों में उलझा कर तुमसे argue करे,, सभी ने इतने negative feedbacks दिए सही है मानता हूं कि हल्का फुल्का हो जाता है लेकिन हर चीज़ में कमी बता दी
हद है,, मेरे लिए तो भाई जबरदस्त interview था

I think drishti IAS mock interview is another level
I personally think that , that market rate question was such a stereotypical and offensive behaviour to degrade the moraleof a young candidate from bihar. We all have seen such increasingly more numbers of dowry cases, and suicide/killings due to dowry in kerala as compared to bihar. But that mam was so desperate to know the rate of IAS in marriage market.

Ofcourse she was not interested to actually know the market rate. She was checking the reaction of the candidate to such an unexpected question and how he handles it.
They just ask hurtful questions to see how the candidate will react. They don't really care for an answer.
i guess the is the purpose of asking these questions is to see whether the person will snap or get offensive or he /she stay calm even if situation is against him/her

The question related to the steel frame of India, He could have used the example of Shri Shuprya Shau ma'am(1991 batch IAS officer in T.N. cader) for rendering the "INDCOSERVE" future-ready.
