  • Today trying jumbo braids for a stretch method. Yall suggested to me to try jumbo braids and to braid looser. We shall see how how this goes. So far I like the tension method the best, however, the braids are growing on me.
    Thanks for watching!

    If you try African banding, you can use yarn instead of thread for hair health. Different colored yarn would be easier to see.

    Mya…thank you, thank you, thank you! I had three different Tangle Teezer which would take me FOREVER to detangle. I didn’t realize there was such a big difference. But based on your recommendation I purchased the Thick & Curly one and…my life is forever changed. Lol…total game changer!

      Hello Kris!
      Ma'am! When I had the regular tangle teaser I was about to be bald lol. I ran that thing through my hair and said "Oh no, not I". Then I hopped on Amazon and found the thick and curly one.

    Beef tallow on wet hair makes tangles almost nonexistent even when it's dry. Sebum is almost as effective but does a better job of staying in after a rinse in plain warm water.

    5 to 8 cornrows is good for a braidout bc it covers the roots.

    • @BionAvastar3000
      @BionAvastar3000 Před rokem +1

      True, but cornrowing takes a LOOONG time on long curly hair

    I was wondering if your hair actually dried? Came out really nice. Looking forward to the banding. Don't see how you can do it yourself with all that hair. Thanks for the video.

      Hey Jennifer ! Lol yea it was dry!
      I am excited for the banding as well. I went to Walmart and saw some really thick bands and purchase them.

    Good morning…❤may I ask, what is your next step with your hair after this? Like how are you wearing it? It’s beautiful like this with your hair and un braided but I know that you are stretching your hair so I was wondering if you are going to re-twist or wear your braid out? I do love your mini twist so 🤷🏾‍♀️I can see how you might miss them lol but it’s always good to try new things sometimes. 😊

      Hey Connie!
      After the video I installed semi-jumbo twists.
      I re-moisturized and redid the twists 2x each week. I don’t typically wear my hair out.
      Today is Monday and I will wash my hair tomorrow.
