..... WOW! What a fantastic list! I have become addicted to Korean action films. Especially anything with Ma Dong-Seok. THE OUTLAWS and THE COP, THE GANGSTER & THE DEVIL are both absolutely fantastic........

Your top 10 have many that I've never seen in the korean genre...I saw the devil, memories of a murder, Chaser, Night in Paradise or even Battleship Island all should be all above your bottom 4...but I'm always looking for more great korean films.

All I can say is the direction in all these films is superb. Scripts are excellent and casting could not be better....imho.
The man from nowhere is the movie that got me into Korean action movies.

I don't think anyone does fight scenes like the South Koreans. Mind-blowing stuff. The Man From Nowhere knocked my socks off! The fighting was incredible and it set the benchmark for me - until I saw Tony Jaa omg. But Sth Korea do make great fight movies and are hilarious! Just a shame the stories are so repetitive in the dramas as well as movies. (But I have noticed that the whole of Asia seems to have this problem - the same plot/story told over and over and over. Needs to change) I didn't know this when I saw The Host and The Man From Nowhere. But since I have binged I really only stay for the fighting. The stories and general hatred of women is hard to stomach. There is also excellent fighting in some of the series. I really want to find The witch. Ma Dong has really been prolific.

The K2 should be in there. But, YES, "Man From Nowhere" is too awesome not to watch just once...I have re-watched my favorite scene so many times. You will fall in love with the little girl every time you see her. Can't say enough about it. But, check out The K2. It is way up there, too.
