- In 2018 the Tampa Bay Rays did something new and relatively unheard of in baseball when they started using The Opener with some regularity.
In this video I explain the use of the Opener, and how it was previously used in baseball before the Rays made it popular.

Ashley, I have been binge watching your channel all day. You were a random suggested clip and I started with your pitching statistics 101, it is great, it is shared and liked. As has been every video I've watched of yours. Keep up the Great work, thank you so much.
Hey, these are great videos!
Great video content. I learned so much. Keep the video coming.
So what you think, are we going to see any MLB this year? My personal opinion is they should not take the risk. Though I really miss the game we can take a year off and start again next year.
Curious. What “risk”? I mean flying balls is part of the game. Should they just stop playing due to the “risk”. Or are you talking the Scamdemic? Yeah keep believing that BS.
Wow, that was good skill in destroying that Baseball, I would love to see you destroy a Football
I suspect it would just deflate, but it might be amusing
Reality is the Opener is still the Starter. LOL.
