Aak Ngench Thayan | Strong Country Installation in Melbourne

We recently welcomed artists Keith Wikmunea and Lex Namponan, along with Art Centre Manager Gabe Waterman to our gallery in Melbourne for the installation of Aak Ngench Thayan | Strong Country.
Aak Ngench Thayan presents the innovative work of emerging and established artists Keith Wikmunea, Lex Namponan, Bruce Bell, Steve Ngakapoorgum Yunkaporta, Leigh Namponan, Roderick Yunkaporta, Garry Namponan, Bevan Namponan, Leo Namponan, and Alair Pambegan from Wik & Kugu Art Centre.
Install (and finishing touches!) took place over two days, and our gallery has now been transformed into an immersive space, and our first ever sculpture only exhibition which opens on 22 March. We can't wait to share these works with a wider audience.
