Yes. Newcastle exploits our high inverted fullbacks position with their pacy wingers. Too many spaces on both sides making hard for our CBs to cover especially Romero who is not pacy like VDV. I think Udogie should stay back and Porro can go support attacking side so it will be like we have 3 CBs at the back when attacking. Or Bissouma should stay back with our 2 CBs.

First chance was waist high and passed behind him - don't think he could have done any better there as he was running at full flight.
Second one was a left foot shot (he is right footer) when the ball was coming across him with 3 defenders and a keeper standing in front of him. That should have been better but can't really blame him for the first one.

I'm not a coach but the problem is obvious. You can't play a highline if you give possession away too easily. The sad truth is that we are vulnerable.
For the atrocious game that Micky had today .. the tactics were also at fault. Repeatedly he was caught out of position covering for the Full Backs bcoz as always both Porro and Udogie were inverting into the midfield leaving gaps in the backline that were easily exploited by Isak and Gordon

Tottenham is by far the most unbalanced team in the Premier League, and perhaps... in the world! You can win by 4 goals or lose by 4 in the next game, and that cannot be called a good way of playing; It is incredible that there are still people who defend Ange when it is 100% evident that the guy does not have a plan "B", there is nothing fun about watching your team win by playing with the plan and winning well, and then playing with the same plan and losing the next game resoundingly, Ange is not a good coach for any top 6 team in the Premier, with Conte we play ugly but lost decently, ...and neither of the 2 coaches was ideal for the Premier!!!

Im glad I didn't watch the game. Already knew we would lose. High line, inverted fullbacks, worked in the beginning because it was new and teams did not know how to deal with it. Now its so easy to exploit. Hojbjerg should have started instead of Bissouma. He atleast gives us the option to shoot from distance. I love Son but he just cannot play with his back to goal. He is our best finisher/striker for sure but not ideal to have him up top as a target man, especially with the high line we play. Why are we playing such a high line anyway? Higher line doesn't mean we score more goals. It just gives the other team a lot of space to run into behind us. Even Man City doesn't play that high the whole game. We have no space to run into because we are up so high up that we end up playing backwards. Whats the point in all that possession if we don't have any shots. Please bring the line down a few yards. Give the forwards space to run into instead of clustering everyone in the box.

We ain't gonna win the title so not going to be sad for the loss every single time. Would be great to be in UCL next season. My only wish is that if we can beat Arsenal on 28 April and they slip from the top because of us, I will be happy for the next 10 years.
I know it's supposed to be a painful transition and all that, but our tactics have become predictable. Every match it's put it out to the wing and drill in a low cross. Everyone seems too scared to take a shot unless it's been drilled in from the wing.

The defense is almost non existent in opponent counter attacks. Agne should change his tactics or will be humiliated against a good counter attacks.
It seems to me that moving Sonny to LW, taking Timo out (clearly not his day), putting Brennan in that Striker position, and Deki from RW after the first 30mins of the game would have achieved a better outcome.
It would be easy and lazy analysis to blame Micky for goals 1 and 2. True, he could do better on a different day, but a smarter and more proactive team avoids those goals altogether.

After conceding so many goals, I kept thinking to myself, "Do you even want to qualify for the Champions League?" .Every time we win several matches and see hope, but sometimes we lose too awful, which really hurts my heart and lowers my expectations for Tottenham. However, I am forever loyal to Tottenham and vow to support them always. Although I am not a football expert, I am a football enthusiast. I hope this summer's signings can bring in high-quality defenders and skillful dribblers. I've said all this to release my frustration. Come on, Spurs! ✊️

한마디로 그냥 리즈 유나이티드의 비엘사 감독의 마지막 리즈에서의 경기 운영을 보는 느낌이었다랄까...
손흥민도 뭔가 중원에서 내려와서 변화를 만들어보려고 한 것 같아 보이지만, 손흥민은 이제 나이가 들면서 공을 지키는 능력이 부족해졌다.
(그냥 이번 경기 손흥민 너무 못했다.)
손흥민이 못한 것도 있지만 이번 경기의 가장 큰 책임은 포스테코글루 감독이었다...
너무 원패턴의 전술... 이미 전반전에 박살이 났기 때문에 후반전에 변화를 가져갔어야 했는데 후반전에 지는 모양새 그대로 가져와버렸다.
중원에서 볼을 점유하고 전진하기 어려우면, 상대 박스 구역에서 어떻게든 코너킥이나 프리킥 등 세트피스 전술이라도 만들었어야하는데
솔직히 내가 영어 못하지만 어떻게든 번역해서 말했는데... 세트피스 키커 '메디슨' 아니다. 메디슨은 세트피스 키커로 차면 안된다... 성공확률이 이미 너무 낮다.
포로 손흥민 클루셉스키 이 선수들이 코너킥, 프리킥을 차야하는데... 심지어 문전 앞에서 왜 손흥민한테 프리킥 키커 안 시키냐? 진짜 무슨 멍청한 짓인지... 이해가 안된다.

콘테 감독의 토트넘이, 2시즌에 암흑기를 만났지만 콘테 때 세트피스 하나 만큼은 빛이 났다. 페리시치나 손흥민 클루셉스키가 보내주는 양질의 킥을 통해서
케인이나 로메로 머리등에 맞춰서 높은 확률을 만들어 냈다
그런데 지금의 포스테코글루는 그냥 세트피스라는 귀중한 기회를 단지 '확률이 낮다'라는 것 만으로도 그냥 버리고 있다.
키커는 제일 잘하는 선수를 차게 만들어야 한다... 메디슨은 프리킥, 코너킥 키커로는 맞지 않다. 제발 제발좀 이런 사소한 차이 하나하나 계속 더 좋은 축구로 바꿔가야 결국은 뭔가를 만들어 내는데, 포스테코글루 감독 당신이 이상적인 그림만 그리는 듯한 필드골만 만들려는 축구로는 프리미어리그라는 거대한 리그에서 결과를 만들어낼 수가 없다.
포스테코글루 감독 축구 전부가 나쁜게 아니다. 좋은 것은 계승하고, 부족하다고 생각하는 건 과감하게 바꾸고 더 좋은 걸 채용해라... 제발 제발 이기기 위해서...

We're in serious need of a striker, and also a replacement for Bissouma. I'm afraid he's been more of a liability since that Luton game where he got sent off.
Maddison and Bentancur need some time off from starting games, as well. Both are coming back from injury and they're really not playing well. It would be wise to give a run to Sarr, Hojbjerg and Lo Celso on the midfield.
If the midfield isn't working right in this system, I'm afraid we're gonna keep on leaking goals and risking injuring our defenders frequently. Bissouma should be a key to do that, but he's never marking his man and is always sluggish when tracking down players.
I trust in Ange, though. Hopefully, he can learn from games like these. Understandable that games like these happen, considering it's his first season in the top flight of European football.

I'm not a hater, but Son has been
terrible for the past few games. He
can't control the ball properly, he can't
dribble that well, his ball touch and
first touch when he receives the ball is
terrible. Also he does not shoot when
he is in the box. He has 0 shooting in
this game even tho he played as a
striker. Ik he is a fantastic player but if
he doesn't work on his dribble, control
and shooting he won't be able to
survive next season
Ridiculous. Ball possession is more than 70% but got beaten 2 goals in less than 5 minutes. And then the suffers goes on at the full time. Defeated for 4-0. What a game. I can't imagine for any further if the game plays for 120 minutes.😢

Not hiring a set piece specialist is the one I can’t get behind. We’ve been obliterated by opposition in every single corner ever since Man City figured out Vicario’s vulnerability. Mason and Jedniak are supposedly responsible for set piece tactics and they have done nothing. Our set piece defending is the worst I’ve seen and this is not an exaggeration. We have no creativity whatsoever on attacking corners.
Also, the first person should be sacked today’s disaster is whoever approved the color of the 3rd kit.
