I was so excited to see Jessie running and playing. She looks so happy. Thank you for giving her such a wonderful home. Some people would not want her because she can't be a momma and she is never going to be as big as she should be. But you saw all the love she has to give, so thank you.🥰

It is always so exciting to see babies!! She is one tenacious pea hen and she didn’t let anything stop her from having her some little ones to raise this year. I hope all 5 babies will make it and grow up to be like mom. I think the other one was following her asking “mom how did you do that?? Show me everything!!” I wish you could have seen a white one but that is 5 beautiful babies. Please take care of them mom and with Brooke watching from afar they have a much better chance. ❤❤❤🐣🐥🦚

Is it just me, or was Peaches more active when she was at the house near you guys? I remember her coming with you to feed in the mornings and it was so cute! She had her hammock on the porch if I remember correctly…. Could she be missing having that interaction with y’all? I also noticed how much she enjoyed Jason teaching her to use the waterer recently… maybe she needs to learn more jobs around the farm to keep her from getting so bored? lol
Peaches is getting up there in pig years. I'm just happy to see her. Plus her responsibilities have dramatically increased since the old farm so she needs those extra snoozes!!

Not to mention, this summer heat has been exceptionally intense. I couldn't even move.. yet the Cog Hill Crew somehow manages to keep on trucking. Can't wait for fall to start closing in. 🙏 🍂
And.. this Saturday or Tuesday live, answering a similar Peaches question, they said they have left the gate open for her to go out, but she will not cross the threshold. She seems content. On the old magical Cog Hill, she had the prisomom trees, the fig trees to scavenge fruits. They are getting there with the Cog 40!
Maybe Peaches did tell Loretta, but Loretta couldn’t hear her to let you know.😂
That was lovely seeing the 5 peachicks and I am glad MS. Lewis had another batch she is a proud mother now, Lovely tour of the farm and Miss Dee riding in the cart with you.

That was so adorable seeing her 5 little babies.
After the sad discovery of the lost eggs I admit this video led to a few tears of happiness. It's always touching when Brooke shares her excitement re new farm babies, her passion (and of course Jason's as well), for their family and lifestyle are obviously genuine and special. Due to this channel, Brooke and Jason I have altered my criteria re house shopping. I now want at least an acre so I can have 4 or 5 chickens, a small vegetable garden and 3 or 4 goats to maintain the grass and for entertainment. I would love to have my very own JT aka Jessi Two but that might not be feasible. Time will tell how my search proceeds but I am sick of subdivisions. For now I treasure each and every video from this amazing couple!

Hi Brooke, I wondered when the pea hen lost her eggs earlier in the season if it was a one and done season, but I still heard Scott calling so that made me think that they still were trying, I forgot you guys had more females. I sure do hope these babies make it. Mercy! Five pea chicks!!✌💜

The babies are so cute. Loretta has Now became Supervisor in Charge. Peaches is the boss and is slowly training Loretta as SIC so her work load will lighten up.
