Gay bad boy, like, serious bad boy as Ben is, is very refreshing to see. Love that being gay is not all of what gay characters are contributing to the plot. Props to EastEnders writers for that 😁 And casting is great! They both are handsome and attractive, but I think it's based not on looks only - both their vulnerabilites and strength are shown, which gives so much more depth to them and makes them attractive. Even if, judging just by looks, they are cute, but not sex symbols, they are still realistic - two blokes, a bit more than average looks but because we see what they've been through makes them so much more interesting and attractive. Ah the beginning of the dreaded and ever awful Cop Callum story. It made no sense as a career move then, and it still makes no sense now. It's completely wrong for who Callum is. He's kind and sweet and caring - even the best, most honest police officer cannot be those things.
