Probably my favourite band. Been lucky enough to see them three or four times. The last time was about 4yrs ago. There are so many good songs of theirs for you to react to.
Fantastic song off a fantastic album from a fantastic group! Great rabbit hole to go down. One of my favorite groups. Have every album! Their most popular song is a banger called Something about you. Other hits include Lessons in Love is also a great hit.
Great reaction, thanks Shawn😊 So glad you liked this. It's amazing to watch Mark King sing and play bass at the same time (sometime you will need to see one of their live videos). Keyboardist Mike Lindup sang the falsetto part. To me Level 42 is an example of a band which included synths in their sound and also (contrary to what some people think about 80's bands that used synths) were/are extremely talented musicians...not just Mark but the rest of the band too. I don't agree with anyone who says reacting doesn't require talent. You're so good at this😊 Congrats again on 10,000 subscribers!👏👏
Check out by them,The Sun Goes Down. It’s pure funk and perfect for the beach,my favourite Level42 tune and Mark King plays bass like it’s an extension of his arm. Brilliant.
Another of my favorite bands; Level 42 are incredible. Other songs to check out: Weave Your Spell, Micro-Kid, Hot Water (the extended mix is amazing!!!), Lessons in Love, Something About You and World Machine Shep Pettibone remix. Great great band!
11 times for me will be 12 by the end of the year when they play the indigo at the O2. Great reaction video glad that you are really appreciating this under rated band,
Loved these guys so much back in the day. This is their swan song album in my opinion. They were never the same after the Gould brothers left. As a young drummer I spent so much time woodshedding to their music. Phil is still one of my favorite players to this day!
Great band & I don't think they get the credit they deserve. there are lots of hits to go through, Leaving me now & Something about you are just 2 you might like from their previous album World Machine ❤
It's not common at all for bassists to be lead singers. Sting from The Police is another. Generally, guitarists or piano/synth players are the lead singers in a band.
A great song, hugely underrated - perhaps their best ever song
I agree...absolutely superb song...!
Yes
Agree much.... It resonates across generations.
I forgot just how good Level 42 were. Their biggest radio hit in the US was "Something about You," but this is so good too!
I love Level 42. Songs to recommend are Something about you, and Lessons in Love.
Regards from Chile 🙂
Level 42 es mi grupo musical favorito. "Children say", "Something about you" y muchas más son fantásticas. Un saludo desde España

Fantastic band. Hit after hit after hit.
