That’s how this game is
Thats just forza in general

Thx ❤️
Basic Trash thank god for the comments section 🙌 you saved a lot of us 3 pointless minutes 🤦♂️🤣
You're the best
Too bad Forza won’t give us like 5 secs or so before the real drag races start, so this is half useless. But cheers.
FreeRoam Drag LMFAO dumb
That’s why you wait until the next hit doofus
@@user-cb5fi9gt3i No, you are just trying to explain away a bad feature
Yeah those drag races are whack as fuck. Not even a proper run off at the end. Wtf
How to make a song:
Step 1: Get a Murcielago.
Step 2: Used advanced launch control to set RPM for a couple seconds.
Step 3: Mix

Try it with a volvo truck
ive allready done it lol

well... that`s not how real Launch control works... but it`s Forza.
@Reid Harris I don't mind what Lambo has, i mean, why you can't make it in game, you turn esp etc. off. Hold brake and gas and launch, why you have to use manual w/ clutch gearbox to use it.
It's called a 2 step launching actually dose work like that
My bad... sorry, but still...
Too much wheel spin the launch control is useless 😂
@@downtowngames4631 uh no, you use launch control in most cars around 3000-4000 rpm, which has proven to be more grip than wheelspin
i love how ive been driving with manual with clutch since the first horizon and i didnt know how to raise the rpm until just now. thanks lol
Known about this before anyone even mentioned it in fh3, it’s nice to see someone explaining how it works and teaching others how to do this.
You can also release the throttle while in launch mode to drop the RPM back down without having to redo.
How did I not know how to do this for so long 😂😂😂
Well hello there
It’s also in Forza Horizon 3
exactly old news hahah
Doesnt seem to work on PC btw
Mitchell Phillips love your channel man
How did you manage to make this video over 7 minutes long
Ascent Zaak Because he never shut up 🤐
He had other things that he had been talking about
Quality content
for real.... could have been under a minute even with some fluff
Jake, I’ve been doing this for 2 years. Thanks for explaining it to the general public, I feel they needed to learn this. You failed to mention that some older cars cannot have this trick applied, as they will have a fluctuation in rpm very slowly. Anyways great vid👍
Liam Flaherty I did not know that, most cars should work anyway! Thanks
You can upgrade the flywheel
no one cares
xd yBroZ I was just saying how if you have a stock old car, and even with the upgraded flywheel in the stock engine, you will not be able to hold rpm. You have no reason to say ‘no one cares.’
@@liamflaherty1534 do you mean that it stalls everytime you want to hold 2k Rpm? Some cars struggle with that. But if you hold the brake and build realy realy slowly the rpm up to 2k than most of the cars can do it.
Steps
Hold the e brake
Then hold your RT
Then hold clutch
To change do all those three then let go of e brake then hold it again but fast
what button is clutch tho
It won't work how much do I hold the throttle?
Harry Leery u need chair man can’t do it with controller
Manual with clutch for years...Fh4 was trickier to get used to but worth it!! Good vid!!!
This was the only description I could figure out how to do it. thank you
DUDE!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I WAS MISSING PUSHING THE CLUTCH IN!!! IN FH3 YOU COULD JUST BOUNCE THE E-BRAKE!!! GREAT VIDEO, THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP, SEE YOU IN FH4, FM7 OR FH3!! THANKS AGAIN MAN!!!
You can do it with the regular breaks too. Easier to get to an ideal rpm because the triggers touch sensitive. In my opinion.
Clutch is LB for anyone asking, you can find out any other controls by going into settings, controls, then scroll til you find it
Immortal lmao this comment saved my life 😂😂
RareKoncepts Media yeah I was super confused trying to find clutch
you gotta find the option to switch clutch and hand brake. cuz default setup is booty
My question is, who even uses automatic on forza anymore?? 😂
MIKE5256 my question is, why do pussies own shitbulls
Lotta people
@@NonbinaryBrother whats wrong with pitbulls? Are you one of those kids who think all pitbulls are blood thirsty merciless killers?
I think he is talking about lambos
I do. I like not having to worry about working a stick and clutch. 🤷♂️
It took some practice with different cars but I'm happy to say I mastered it! For those of you still learning, it works best with cars with turbos, and doesn't work well on the Lamborghini Aventador in particular. If you have the Puegot 205 Turbo 16' it works amazing with this car, it can increase rpm and stay locked in quickly.
This works best with real RWD Drag tunes as it can completely get rid of any launch tire shredding. I don't ever really use this for AWD but it is very useful for any case. Great Video.
Thank you so much bro!!!! I've been playing from 2 years and I didn't knew 😂
Caught on to it straight away thanks mate lot other youtubers didnt describe it very well
What if you did this with the regera
Mitchell Albecker well probably the same results because it has the highest rpm
You just gotta shift it really quick
(ihyuts)
@@pedrorivera9110 but the regera only has 1 gear
Is what I would say if i didnt understand that joke
Expected to learn something, but I already knew how to do this from FH3. Don't forget 1st gear ratio as well for the perfect launch at a set rpm of your choice
Lol. My friends is taking the piss because I've been using this on him on the drag strip and he keeps on losing. With a stock gtr(both of us have the same detail)
Hugomao88 remember that using different transmission leads to different result. i remember drag racing my friend. we were using similar cars and he was losing everytime. why? because i was using manual with clutch when he was using manual. imo automatic transmission is the worst to use in forza games imo
Zhila Muhammed yeah it’s quite cool that you get rewarded for using a more difficult transmission setup
Thank you because of you I no longer lose drag races 😂💯
Thank you so much man, this is super useful!
Thx for the video! Was wondering how People do this in videos! Thx Alot and very Nice explained simple and easy explanation!! Thumps up!
Thanks, that helped me, now I can beat my friends in drag races. :)
Awesome I’ve done that so many times and I was like whoa how tf did I just do that, well now I know lol thanks man!
This mans just reinvented 2 step
Thank u bro this is the best way it was described to me
Thanks I have always wanted to know how to do it 👍👍👍
I did what you said step bye step and it does it work
Perfect tutorial man 👌🏽
Thank you this has helped a lot
Thanks allot , it really helped😃
Thank you brooo i finally learned
You can also launch using the same method with the brake instead of e brake jus to get that out there, much more precise than mashing the button
He showed that if you actually watched the video🤦♀️
Omg good vid now I know how to do it thank god thank you bro
It worked thank you!!
So I have a problem where whenever I try to do this doing everything that you tell me to which already knew about it before hand but mine has a problem where when I do it it just goes up to me about 2000 RPM and then just goes down it will not hold anywhere above that and I have tried everything and it still does that
I got the same problem, tried to reach out for devolepers yesterday. Are u on controller?
husq00 yes I am
When you do the brake and gas press the gas real slow up to 2,000 rpm then he the gas all the way down and it should work
You need to be using a default control scheme. Mine didn't work until I used one
I had the same problem. I mean I hope that the problem was in using E-brake/Clutch while launching a car.
I could resolve this issue by changing a control scheme to any of default ones. Then tried to change buttons (E-brake and Clutch) in a default scheme but I was forces by Forza to change buttons only in my custom control scheme. So I agreed and was returned to my old custom scheme and change those button to ones that are handy for me (E-brake = LB, Clutch = A).
And it helped. Now I can launch a car using E-brake/Clutch without dropping RPM.
I would lovvvve a manual with clutch tutorial! I always use manual because I'm not very flint w/clutch
5 different Launch Control in FH4:
czcams.com/video/X_1vbnT7UDM/video.html
Thanks for your help !
Is this patched? I’ve tried now multiple times and everything works, but when I launch my speed is still the same as it would be if I launched without clutch.
I always used manual with clutch. Especially drifting for clutch kicking.
How do you clutch kick?
@@breakfree1967 when you’re about to enter a drift quickly kick the clutch and the tires will start spinning ( when you kick the clutch tap the gas at the same time ) or let off throttle push in the clutch, build up rpm and quickly release the clutch, remember to do all of it in a somewhat fast motion tho, the more you do it the more you’ll get a feel for how much clutch to use and rpm to build
@@breakfree1967 if you still have issues let me know! 👍🏻
curious if this works on real life cars?
just tried it but when you hold down the accelerator it redlines. how is you pressing down the acclerator not doing anything on your first try?
I keep my cars at low revs and get a better take off. It works for me. Me and my friend (moochy1970) were racing in sock Huracans and I won constantly.
Finally someone teach me xd
thank you u need to get a million dollars for this
Nr
thanks you, you helped me very much
I gotta go to bed rn but I'll finnish in the morning!
Not saying that this method is bad. But I don’t use manual w clutch often( I just use regular manual) and if you hold the handbrake and use some throttle control, you can get the rpms to a certain rpm and you can launch pretty good.
At the end I got it thank u🙃
What do you think the best RPM to launch at for a Supra would be? And/or a Monaco(the apparent fastest 1/4 mile car in the game)
Manual with clutch but feels like it should be an automatic mechanic because a torque pretty much does that exact thing
I play w steering wheel so I use clutch which is the best way to launch, as long as u slip the clutch and not drop it so u dont wheelspin
That was really good
So nice this is finally in Forza!! I use it for each race,…. oh wait!???
Thank you man
Thank you very much I just need to get used of the clutch thing lol
Turn 10 should just add a launch control category in the tuning menu that you can set to any rpm and then it will go to that rpm when holding the accelerator and the brake instead of always going to 2000rpm
Manual/w clutch the clutch is rb or r2 hold the e-brake it revs to 2000 rpm then let go of rb and e-brake then shift by rb and X
That’s really epic
Thanks man
I tried it so many times nur it never worked nur now... Holy cow... Thank you...😅😁
I’ve been using manual w clutch forever and I am very good at it
You’re supposed to see what rpm gives you the most psi of boost on the stats for the best launch
I knew about this for a long time before this came out
Please can you do a manual with clutch tutorial?
Benjamin Mason - Dat shits easy.
@@SshiggyY don't be a doo doo
I think he's already done a tutorial for manual with clutch in fh3
When you press the LT and RT just tap LB or whatever you have assigned to the clutch action, and just tap it, it will make the rpm set at 4,000 if done correctly just feather it and launch
Hold your hand brake and rev your rpms at 2000 then push your clutch in and double tap the clutch and hand brake at the same time whilst keeping your revs at the same and it will launch
VIDEO ON THE CONTROL PLEASE
Jay's Supercar Spotting finally some else that see the handling in this game is completely garbage
@@h22amonsterb18c he said something about handling?
I knew this was in the game, but it didnt help much before i knew you could balance at a higher rpm 😅😅 thanks
Is this the launch control trick where you set your settings into manual w/clutch and then just hold the brake and give full throttle?
Ah ok, thing is I already knew how to hold the brake/e-brake to launch, but I never knew how to change the rpm like that. 👌
Good tutorial, but I can get this to work with the 2008 m3 and it's rwd. Is it just for rwd cars or am I doing it wrong?
How did I not know this!? So, manual with clutch is the fastest too? My son and I are always drag racing, I'll have to show him this, thanks!
Did they remove this? If I hold the brake or the handbrake at all it just goes up to 1000 and straight back down unless I also hold the clutch but then it's just like normal, it doesn't hold at different RPM levels or anything like that :(
Same
Is anyone having problems with certain vehicles? They will do it... but rpms slowly increases instead of you pumping the brake to increase rpm...
Thanks
if your doing this with a controller you can ease of the acceleration to bring it down to an RPM that you want
Thanks so much
Thank you❤
U should swap your hand break with clutch too then you just press a and b with one finger at the same time much easier
Thank u so much
I could never figure out driving with clutch in forza, a tutorial would be greatly appreciated
Alex Elber you shift up when your car gets to max speed in that gear...you have to let off gas hold clutch while you shift it’s like a real manual car
you just hit the clutch as you shift dogg. Not much to it. If you know how manual works in real life you shouldn’t have a problem.
I looked through all the comments, but I can't see anyone asking this, so I will.
Launch control works for me when I use the default controller layout. However I am using a custom controller layout that fits better for me. I use the same technique as I do in the default controller scheme, but now it doesn't work. It does work with stock controls, not with custom controls. Before you ask, YES I am sure I am doing it correctly, it just doesn't activate launch control at all. Has anyone in here come across this issue and know how to fix it?
You're doing it wrong lol there's no such issue
@@razorian100 I understand why you would say that I am "just doing it wrong", but I promise you, I swear to god, I am not. I am doing the exact same thing with my custom controls as with the preset controls, and with the preset control scheme - launch control works just fine and as intended, but with custom controls the engine simply dies. Its the same keypresses in the same order, but with custom controls they dont work.
@@razorian100 actually yes there is. I can do it on the default layout but not my custom. On custom the car stalls then over revs
@@softgunruler I've had the same issue. I haven't been able to find a fix for it either. Not worth it to change the layout to me.
Man I am so happy I am not actually insane and other people are having the same issues... It is such a strange bug, I have no idea why it hasn't ever been adressed or fixed... But yeah, absolutely not worth the custom controls to just have the car stall over and over, we'll just have to make do with the stock controls
Thank you.
it was a very bad explanation but i understand now very thanks from the netherlands!
YOOO THX
You can also replace handbrake with normal brake if you want
I'm guessing this doesnt work for all cars, as some e.g BMW m3 gtr won't hold the revs, it keeps jumping from 1000 to 6500 rpm, and holding clutch in just makes it redline
wezbian88 raise slowly the rpm it will work
What layout are u using? Doesn't work on normal layout 1 and when I try change my settings on layout 9 it says missing key bindings.. so please explain how to change it?
hopefully this works with my g920! Because in fh3 this technic didnt work out for me with the steeringwheel
Geile Potsau doesn’t work for me on my steering wheel.
Actually it doesnt even work for my controller. Dont know whats wrong
Geile Potsau it only works if your car has a turbocharger in it
If you have 3 pedals: you have to balance the clutch yourself, for my thrustmaster t3pa you have to balance the clutch at 25-27%
2 pedals: you can do it if your in manual with clutch but your ducked if you want to shift up
@@bignut5314 I did it in the supercharged demon so not gonna say your answer is false but idk how I did it 😂 it was holding at 6k fill throttle. That's how I got to the videos cause I never learned this till 30 minutes ago
If let go of the accelerator very slowly the RPM will decrease if you’re way to high and want to use less rpms
Please do a TUT on manual with clutch, long time manual driver with zero assists but I just can't fathom using the LB button so often
I mean I can use a clutch IRL but not in a game it makes no sense 😂
Ryan McCall like you cant use clutch in controller wish other parts of controller ( a button rb lb) was push sensitive too so i would make lb clutch rb handbrake and drift more realistic
I switched my clutch to A and I just fat finger it and hit A and B/X at same time
@@STL3FIFA thats actually pretty smart
Old, but I finally got it!
It would be nice to have an adjustable 2 step. You would think they would have that by now
I have developed an easier and more effective way of "launch control", its divided in 2 phases:
Phase 1: Brake fully and accelerate to about 60 - 70% of the Throttle (accelerate GRADUALLY so you dont stall in some cars) so in most cars it holds the RPM to about 1700rpm or so instead of 2000rpm
Phase 2: Now press the clutch and accelerate more so the RPM build up to your desired amount and MAINTAIN with throttle management
When everything is go, release both brake and clutch..
In more powerful RWD / FWD vehicles you might want to accelerate less in phase 1, to about 30 - 40% to avoid a lot of wheelspin, for example;
The Koenigsegg One:1 or the Agera RS i usually brake and accelerate to 1750rpm, hold the clutch and rise the RPM to 3000, then launch and immediatly manage the throttle to minimize wheelspin and avoiding bouncing off the rev limiter
This technique is really the same thing but its more controllable and easier to hold the desired RPM, its not hard at all to maintain the throttle, and the engine builds up the same torque and power, and in fact, more boost on the turbos / supercharger
One last thing, if you really want the closest to a 100% perfect launch you can try and time yourself to release the brakes first, and then the clutch within a 0.1 second difference, that way the car doesn't "cough" and potentially ruin the whole process, this usually happens in cars with a lot of turbo lag, as the "cough" makes the engine fuck up for a second, but the turbo keeps building pressure so when the engine gets back up it makes full power instantly and it becomes impossible to manage the wheelspin
Try it and telll me how it worked out for you
Tried everything but nothing work. Is this still a thing or is it patched or something? Im playing on the g29 with shifter. Can i get some help?
