Honestly, Megalo Strike Back feels like a better fit for Gaster than any other Undertale/Deltarune character, and trust me, I've spent more hours listening to this song, the original, remixes, you name it, than how many times the average human breathes oxygen and exhales carbon dioxide in their life. There is a lot of evidence behind this, specifically since Megalo Strike Back was originally written by Toby Fox for a fan Giygas (Also known as Giegue) battle theme from Earthbound. Giygas and Gaster have many similarities, their names being similar in both containing "gas", having an odd manner of speaking, Giygas taking on the form of a white humanoid alien in Earthbound Beginnings to having his form changed into the essence of pure evil in Earthbound, and Gaster being a whole being before having his form changed to fragments of a whole as he was "shattered across time and space", and on the Mystery Man sprite, there doesn't appear to be any visible arms or legs anywhere which proves this assumption, Giygas being trapped in Devil's Machine and Gaster having fallen into his creation; most likely trapped, but most notably, the machine-like noises that can be heard in Another Him are in Giygas's battle theme from Earthbound, you can take a listen to both songs here:

Also, don't you think the eerie demonic laughing in Megalo Strike Back perfectly fits someone who's main motif is the same as the Devil's?
