Easily one of the best interviews ever. There's nothing like someone who has found their place in the world , but more importantly happiness from within in what they do and it shows. Great guy, amazing talent, and humble .

Had the pleasure of seeing josh play and meeting and chatting to him on saturday night, goes without saying that he is an awesome player, he is also so down to earth, truly a great guy...

Bill Chapin makes the most incredible Tele's I've ever seen. He used to live around here and we've done countless jams together. I've played Tele things where he's used different woods and put all manner of pickups and switching systems into and all have been magic. He has some sort of inate sense of how the thing works and just what part of a wood blank should be used. And as Josh shows, he can adapt, adjust or just make his own of whatever part needs to be there to make the whole thing work. There are builders who can turn out reliably good guitars, but very few you can count on to make each one be one of those special magic instruments that just works right.
