For anyone who would like to sign up for the "Vitality In Aging" longitudinal study, here's the link: vitalityinaging.org/. My understanding is that they're looking for 1,000 participants, and that they will be traveling with a mobil lab to several US cities to do the testing.

Lance Hitchings Thank you for the information. I am not living in the U.S, not able to join the study. I like your videos, good job!

Thanks! As this type of study becomes more accepted in the medical community, I think there will be more studies done, all over the world. Hang in there.

Thanks for going to the festival and bringing back such promising news.
Like you, back in the early 80s, I agreed we would eventually figure out how to live past our biological limits but not in my lifetime. In the last couple years I've come to believe it could happen in my lifetime! Now my job is be as healthy as possible, slow aging, reverse any accumulated toxins etcetera and be ready when rejuvenating tech is available to us all. All of a sudden, 70 seems young.

I hear ya, brother! Just trying to not only stay alive but stay healthy until actual rejuvenation therapies come online.

I, like you got started in life extension back in 1982 when Pierson and Shaw's book came out, and I was coincidentally studying undergraduate biology, physiology, anatomy, etc. in college. I've followed the biomedical literature ever since then, and have been a member of Bill Faloon's Life Extension Foundation, but have not yet attended a RAADFest. You convinced me I need to go. I did get to meet and talk with Aubrey DeGrey after he gave a presentation at OSU's School of Pharmacy. He was very welcoming and invited me to join the community of life extension researchers, which unfortunately I was not able to do at that time.

Fellow Oregonian? I would highly recommend RAADFest, it was worth every penny. When you say that Aubrey DeGrey invited you to join the community of life extension researchers, what form did that invitation take. Just curious.

We must defeat aging! Steve Aoki has a song featuring Aubrey de Grey. Good stuff. Cheers and Limitless Peace.

Steve Aoki is one of my favorite DJ's. I couldn't agree more.

I can’t wait to watch your next videos to talk about everything on the RAADFest. Is the epigenetic clock you are talking about called “Horvath Clock”? It uses the methylation sequencing data to calculate your biological age. Now there are methylation sequencing service on Internet that you can obtain your methylation data by providing a drop of blood or saliva. Do you know the math algorithm (statistics method) to calculate the biological age from the methylation sequencing data? Could you talk about this methylation data analyze technology on your next videos? Do you want to evaluate your biological age like this ?

Yes, the clock is called the "Horvath Clock". Although there are several epigenetic clock available, my understanding is that the Horvath Clock is the most accurate. No, I don't understand exactly how it's calculated. I signed up for an aging study at RAADFest, and they collected a LOT of blood samples (about 13 vials), and I think that they might do testing using the Horvath clock. And yeah, I'd love to know the results of that. They also did functional age testing using test created by a company called "Age Meter". I tested at age 56.

Thank you very much. I am happy to got your reply so quickly. The reasons that I like your videos are 1st: good explaining on complex concepts and easy to understand, and 2nd: very clear voice on words for non English native speakers to understand. I have a question, Why you make these videos? Thoroughly on your personal interest? Or It’s a job or something?
