Have listened this countless times before , but it's my first time listening to this again after my father got hospitalised, he is in ICU and doctors are saying that maybe they won't be able to save him, so it hits different now listening to this ,so much different then before ,i am feeling all kind of emotions and at the same time no emotions at all ,i don't even know how to describe what i am feeling right now.

I continue walking through the pure white snowy forests, with nothing but the bare trees to greet me. It feels like i'm floating, but i can see my feet hit the ground. I wonder how i got there, but immediately drift off to other thoughts. Thoughts about deja vu. Then, like a ton of bricks, i realized this wasn't my world.
It had to be a dream of some sorts. I wish it wasn't. When i realized it was a dream, i tried my hardest to stay asleep, which luckily worked. I kept walking, and couldn't stop hearing music i didn't know the name to. It fit the scene perfectly, and was almost haunting. I felt the pit of my stomach fill with the same, exhilarating dread i felt whenever my adrenaline kicks in. I was actually the opposite of energized, and felt like burrowing in the snow and becoming ice, sleeping for all eternity. The reason my dread kicked in was because i realized where i would go when i wake up, into my bedsheets in the wrong place at the wrong time. I didn't want to go there. Never. It just... wasn't home.
Icy tears began to fall down my face, so real that it startled me. I didn't know how long i had been walking, but the forest never ended. It was fine, i would rather be anywhere other than where i will wake up. More tears fell as i realized that waking up was inevitable, and i would probably never be able to revisit this beautiful place again.
Eventually i tripped over something. A tree branch, rock, hardened snow, it didn't matter.
I just knew i would wake up when i fell, and i did.
I was confused at first, wondering why tears went down my cheeks when i sat up and scanned my surroundings. Then i realized. Another 7 hours of silence. Great.
There was a word stuck in my brain that i couldn't decode. It was only 3 letters long, and it would not leave my thoughts. Opening up the window, i look out to see the world waking up, with the cloudy sunrise giving off a beautiful blue-gray shade. Suddenly, the three letters clicked, and they fell off my tounge like the most natural thing in the world.

I didn't know what it was, and it scared me. I took to my phone and searched for it. There's a song with just the name, which sent little shivers down my spine. I clicked on the link and waited a few seconds.
All the dream flooded back to me at once.
The snow
The trees
The tears
The stumble
The loss
I would never get to see that world again.
The music was the music that fit the scene in my dreams exactly.
My whole body was paralyzed for a few seconds, almost unable to hear it because of my pounding heartbeat.
I began to cry, and i could feel the tears in my eyes, which stung way more painfully than usual. It took me a second to blink it out of my eyelid, feeling almost like hot fire.
It was indeed the opposite.
It felt shockingly icy, as if i was standing outside in a cold, snowy forest.
