Is your dancer friend more into just "darker" and hype dance concepts? If yes, try Clap, HIT, Call Call Call, Fearless (live stage only) maybe Aju Nice and Left & Right. If he's into the emotional and slower-ish tempo, try Fallin Flower, Thanks, Home, and Don't Wanna Cry :)
Seventeen participates in the production of their songs and choreo but i wouldn't say they have no external help. I just dont wanna discredit the staff behind the scenes n all.

Woozi is absolutely creative with the production and lyrics, along with the others. He asks the others what they want, and knows exactly what fits with the concept.
Seventeen is amazing when it comes to choreography. I love watching Dino's Danceology videos and The8..just graceful. Such a talented group. Glad you checked out the dance practive.. now go watch the MV. You need to stan Seventeen.

SEVENTEEN does have a co-producer who helps Woozi with refining the music and some lyrics too, but Woozi is the main one most of the time. For choreography, they have a fixed performance director and different choreographers they work with for most of their title track choreography. For B-sides, they do most of it on their own. But they always have a part in the choreography, they would put in ideas for moves and plan the formation.

yeah they do control a big portion of their work, but they do also have a team to work with inside pledis and there are some common teams they work with too like prismfilter. but overall, seventeen choose what they do and they will ultimately approve of what they sing and dance to. so yeah thats why they have credit with producing and choreographing but its important to mention staff too bc they earn just as much credits as seventeen does 💖💖

definitely recommend Seventeen's other choreos. To name a few HIT is cool. Their japanese Call Call Call is pretty awesome. And if you react to Fearless (a 31 person performance), watch Fear first because they're connected. Don't Wanna Cry is known to be a pretty difficult choreo. They also performed that at 2x speed before. I rec reacting to the choreo in its original tempo/speed and then the 2x one. And for fun, a couple of their hype songs they are particularly well known for are Aju Nice and Clap. As for self producing...music wise, they now have almost 100 songs in their discography, woozi has produced ~85% of them and the rest of what he did not produce is usually Bumzu. Woozi does a lot of work, producing, composing, lyric writing, and directing; of course he usually works with other producers in the process, often becoming regulars but none as much as Bumzu. Dance wise, it is difficult for them to do it all on their own. Hoshi (their performance leader) has had a huge part in choreographing especially at the beginning; later they worked more with dance crews and choreographers while Hoshi participates. Their creative directive is also someone who helps with choreo but she gets credited as an overall creative director for seventeen usually.

A little tip for literally every kpop dance or performance is that the person singing is pretty much always in the front middle (or standing up while the others aren’t like at 2:30)! If you really look you will see that the middle always changes, that’s because they’re the ones singing or rapping at the time. Or for the occasional dance breaks usually the main dancer is in the middle but it always changes to let the other members have their spotlight!
Seventeen are choreo kings. Check out Seventeen’s “falling flower” dance practice….it’s just beautiful … and awesome. Totally different vibe to this one.
