Let's just take a moment to really acknowledge Lauren, the last question girl, and how the guys treated her. She hugged Jared and Jensen so tight, like she was clinging to them for support and love, and they held her right back. Jensen kissed her head, and Jared took her hand as he walked her off stage. How many stars would do that, especially when they could have just left it at a hug? They're always so loving with their fans, more so than most, but stuff like that really drives it home.
Reading these commets makes me feel disappointed in some fans who think just because they buy a ticket or a package they are owed something extra, other than a chance to see these actors outside the characters they play. They do not owe your the hug of your life ,or the convention of your life. They are humans too. Check your expectations at the door and and go along with the ride they give at these shows...after all THEY DON"T HAVE TO DO THEM, BUT THEY DO..ok off my soap box...have a blessed day

I decided to go to you channel to see if there was anything new. And the minute J2 walked onto stage, all my stress went away and my bad day disappeared. I love how the audience helps the boys out by telling them the episode they are talking about and by yelling out the question that was asked. I also loved how they correct the fan if they don't remember the episode. I love watching these!!!! I also love how they act like little kids with the fans. They love to make them laugh and that shows how much they love their fans :)

I was there at the con and the lady at around the 40:00 mark that asked about ever being beat up by or afraid of women...she sat in my row and was stomping around angry and with attitude prior to asking her question. The attitude she delivered with the "alright" when they were joking with her was the real deal. She wasn't kidding. For the life of me I don't understand why she asked such a Stupid question. And she kept trying to interject like she was desperate for them to say yes, I get beaten by my wife or women in my life. It was so bizarre.

SamiDForever Well, the people you are referring to are me and my older sister. Clearly you've miss understood the situation, so allow me to explain what happened. My older sister has been a fan of Supernatural ever since the middle of season 9, and last year she thought it would be a good idea to attend the Atlanta convention. Ever since we watched all eight seasons on Netflix she's been a dedicated fan of the show and Dean Winchester. So, when we had our photo op picture with Jared and Jensen early that day (Sunday) my sister felt that her interaction and hug with Jensen was very underwhelming..... After paying hundreds of dollars on her poor nurses salary, she wanted a tight hug or at least a hello from Jensen. Jensen did not speak to her, thank her, or hug her tightly before and after the picture was done. Like any normal human she was disappointed! My sister tries to have hope for people and after her bland, brief interaction she was hurt! Now, the sad part I played in all of this is I was chosen to ask Jensen and Jared a question as well. However, I didn't have the opportunity to because anyone standing in the question line must HAVE AN ID. AND I didn't have my driver's license because I left it in the hotel room. (Because I'm an idiot.) I tried to go back up to my room, but the elevators took forever and two girls ignored me when I asked them an important question about the room key. So I gave up, sat down in the wrong seat when I got inside of the ballroom, and some lady tried to discredit me, when I asked her where my row was. Because it was dark and I forgot. The impolite woman simply told me that the unreserved seats where in the back, and I was obviously wearing a Copper badge! My stupid mistake, the girls ignoring me, and that woman's rude behavior caused me to sit down and have a nice cry. So forgive me disturbing anyone's peace or acting out of character. But how would you or anyone else feel in that situation. I try to be a nice person, but unfortunately I"m used to poor treatment. But hey I still love everyone. :) I just wanted to explain to you what happened. So I hope this clears things up, please read it because I've wasted too much time working on this instead of homework.

Tamia, I was responding to a situation described by the OP, SamiDForever, who witnessed the isolated circumstance of the question, but not of course, any preceding drama in the life of the person posing the question. The behavior as SamiDForever described it was strange. I was suggesting an alternative explanation to what could simply be ungracious behavior at minimum, and possibly outright rude behavior. I know many people with autism, brain injuries, and mental illnesses who might not present the expected demeanor in such a stressful situation. Obviously, as I was not present, I cannot determine for myself if someone is just having a bad day, exceedingly rude, merely perplexing, or possibly coping with a health (mental or physical) condition. And, of course, I could not diagnose someone anyway, as I am not a qualified professional. However, for myself, I would rather assume that someone is ill than deliberately mean or poorly behaved. I was commending Jensen and Jared for graciously answering a question that seemed to have been posed with antipathy, according to the eyewitness. I am unclear as to whether you or your sister posed the question, but from your explanation, I gather that you were distraught over your sister's underwhelming personal interaction with Jensen Ackles, and an accumulation of time-consuming and inconvenient mistakes and encounters that led to excessive stress in a situation for which you had paid a lot of money to enjoy. As someone who doesn't make as much money as a "poor nurse," I will never be able to attend one of these events, but I appreciate your description of the circumstances that made you feel out of sorts. The series of events you described, including the underwhelming personal encounter in which Jensen didn't hug your sister, or didn't hug her tightly enough, tells me that perhaps the events would not be the welcoming and congenial events I imagine, so maybe I'm not missing as much as I think. For me to interact with so many people in such close proximity, I would probably be pretty stressed, too. I might even act like I do when I'm on the phone with first-level technical support for a complicated computer problem. I hope not. I hope I would choose to put on my rose-colored glasses, and just enjoy what I can. I hope you enjoyed the majority of the event despite the difficulties.
I'd just like to say that, in regards to the personal interaction with the boys, the situation is very strange. If you've ever read the "rules" for those events, the people and security that surround the boys don't give them a lot of room for interaction. Fans are basically told to get in and out as quick as possible and that the boys are actually not allowed to hug fans before or after pictures. If they want a hug they need to make that their pose for the picture... So the fact that the boys actually do hug fans is technically breaking the rules but they so do anyway. I think that actually shows that even though it may not be what a fan would hope for, they're actually going out of their way to try and give the fans more. The fans and boys can also get very rushed to get through people quickly which can result in them maybe seeming like they don't care but, I can assure you that they do. Also, Jensen has said before that he's a very shy person. I know that seems strange given his line of work but he can actually get stressed out meeting and greeting so many people so that might have played into it as well. He may get nervous and not know exactly what to say or do because they totally understand that this is a one in a lifetime experience for their fans and they don't want to mess it up. Ironically, that pressure can result in mistakes (as I'm sure we've all experienced in our own lives!). As for Jared, he struggles with anxiety and speaking from someone who does as well, meeting and greeting people can be incredibly stressful and I often end up accidentally snubbing people. Naturally, there is a sense of them being actors and famous but, they're much kinder and more open to their fans that most celebrities. I'm not trying to diminish your feelings or anything like that, I just wanted to clarify that because I do believe the boys are actually nice people but sometimes we don't always know the circumstances surrounding the situations (much like people didn't know about your upsetting circumstances prior to asking your question). I hope that helps a little bit! Hopefully you know that the boys do care and hopefully you can not take the interaction too personally!

And, of course, I could not diagnose someone anyway, as I am not a qualified professional. However, for myself, I would rather assume that someone is ill than deliberately mean or poorly behaved. I was commending Jensen and Jared for graciously answering a question that seemed to have been posed with antipathy, according to the eyewitness.
I am unclear as to whether you or your sister posed the question, but from your explanation, I gather that you were distraught over your sister's underwhelming personal interaction with Jensen Ackles, and an accumulation of time-consuming and inconvenient mistakes and encounters that led to excessive stress in a situation for which you had paid a lot of money to enjoy. As someone who doesn't make as much money as a "poor nurse," I will never be able to attend one of these events, but I appreciate your description of the circumstances that made you feel out of sorts. The series of events you described, including the underwhelming personal encounter in which Jensen didn't hug your sister, or didn't hug her tightly enough, tells me that perhaps the events would not be the welcoming and congenial events I imagine, so maybe I'm not missing as much as I think. For me to interact with so many people in such close proximity, I would probably be pretty stressed, too. I might even act like I do when I'm on the phone with first-level technical support for a complicated computer problem. I hope not. I hope I would choose to put on my rose-colored glasses, and just enjoy what I can.

I'd just like to say that, in regards to the personal interaction with the boys, the situation is very strange. If you've ever read the "rules" for those events, the people and security that surround the boys don't give them a lot of room for interaction. Fans are basically told to get in and out as quick as possible and that the boys are actually not allowed to hug fans before or after pictures. If they want a hug they need to make that their pose for the picture... So the fact that the boys actually do hug fans is technically breaking the rules but they so do anyway. I think that actually shows that even though it may not be what a fan would hope for, they're actually going out of their way to try and give the fans more. The fans and boys can also get very rushed to get through people quickly which can result in them maybe seeming like they don't care but, I can assure you that they do.
Also, Jensen has said before that he's a very shy person. I know that seems strange given his line of work but he can actually get stressed out meeting and greeting so many people so that might have played into it as well. He may get nervous and not know exactly what to say or do because they totally understand that this is a one in a lifetime experience for their fans and they don't want to mess it up. Ironically, that pressure can result in mistakes (as I'm sure we've all experienced in our own lives!). As for Jared, he struggles with anxiety and speaking from someone who does as well, meeting and greeting people can be incredibly stressful and I often end up accidentally snubbing people.
Naturally, there is a sense of them being actors and famous but, they're much kinder and more open to their fans that most celebrities.
I'm not trying to diminish your feelings or anything like that, I just wanted to clarify that because I do believe the boys are actually nice people but sometimes we don't always know the circumstances surrounding the situations (much like people didn't know about your upsetting circumstances prior to asking your question). I hope that helps a little bit! Hopefully you know that the boys do care and hopefully you can not take the interaction too personally!
