Financially, they're as "done" as their shareholders are willing to cut their losses if it underperforms. Microtransactions/non QA-tested Expansion packs for games like Sims, Madden, and the game formerly known as Fifa are too big of a cash cow to truly destroy them.
I really hope we can bring back our high schools into this game etc

I feel so bad for all of us. EA is going to disappoint us so hard. Who cares about the player faces? It's a marketing ploy. It's easier to do that and sell that than make great gameplay, something EA has proven they can't do with Madden. "But it's different teams at EA!" It's all run by the bottom line. They will cut corners. They will sell it off marketing and hype alone. We will be let down. I know this is negative. It's also been proven true by EA for a decade.

Great news good to know there is a commercial. I hope EA gets this game right. It doesn’t help that college football is a mess right now. The transfer portal has shuffled every week. I hope EA has a good team that does weekly updates.
I believe it’s the same creators as ncaa 14 and some fifa creators are coming over from some research I did a year or 2 ago
I don’t think college football is a mess I actually like the ability and freedom it gives the players , these universities have made money off these kids back basically for free …. So it’s about time it’s vise versa
Why would they do weekly updates? The teams will be set and the portal will be closed by the time game comes out.

I’m ready to see gameplay / commercial! I also wanna see what the player builds & gear gonna look like as far as sock style & height are there gonna be more glove choices to choose from & are all jerseys gonna be included or will we have to purchase uniform packs again like in 14.

Let's not forget this game is running on the Madden frostbite engine which means it's going to have the same gameplay issues Madden has. Presentation is nice and all but we want game not only looks nice but plays well too. You can paint a turd gold but at the end of the day it's still a turd.
The old ncaa games were on the same engine as madden too but it always was more fun to play.
@@WildcardJENO while true the engine for the older Madden games didn't make the game broken and animation based. It is as a physics based engine that led to authentic gameplay. Not like the frostbite engine where everything is based on canned animations
@@Roze4020was about to say this, if they want this game to be as big as we expect, they need to use something equally physics based as 14s infinity engine but obviously more updated l. anything other than maddens engine will be better

That would be dope, Imagine completing the combine and they have a pop up asking you to transfer your player into the franchise along everyone else that declared. All it would take is a cloud to transfer and have all the college info downloaded

Ea still hasn’t released anything official for a game that’s coming out in less than a year. That’s why everyone is so skeptical. Doesn’t seem like a reasonable marketing strategy.
I don't think anyone thinks that this game isn't real. I think everyone knows that this game will come out. However I still think there is a possibility that it could get pushed back again. I believe the EA PGA Tour game got pushed back a couple of times. That fact that we haven't even seen a teaser or release date for this game and the sound of how the game is developing makes me think this game could get postponed by a month or two or even a year.

@@Travis_lee not an exact date release date. I think the reason they haven't announced an exact release date yet is because they aren't 100% sure they can release it by that time. So they are going to wait a little longer to make sure they have everything in order.
Highly doubt it’ll be pushed back they are filming a trailer so most likely they are getting ready to release us a trailer for spring February/March

I bet the game drops Tuesday July 9th or 16th, NCAA 2007-14 dropped on Tuesdays from July 9th-18th. Don’t know if anyone’s already said or seen that to be honest.

No The NFL is far more controlling of what EA has liberty to include in Madden then the NCAA will be, including jerseys, team editing, injury animations like concussions, you name it.
