    When you send sounds out into your analog gear and then back into Ableton live doesn't it introduce latency and how do you compensate it?

    • @sundaymusicBerlin
      @sundaymusicBerlin Před 2 lety +4

      Ableton does it and it mostly works fine. You can also adjust the latency for external devices separately for each device. Sometimes if all goes wrong with timing I might record the external hardware as an audio stem and put it to the correct position.

    13:34 Bricasti M7 the wet dream of the hardware reverbs and no comments?:), come on Henrik!

    • @sundaymusicBerlin
      @sundaymusicBerlin Před 3 lety +3

      true! Sorry i forgot to talk about it. It is for sure one of the best sounding reverbs out there. BUT it is maybe not really necessary to own one unless you are working on some pure acoustic production. I am using Liquid Sonics Seventh Heaven and Reverberate a lot as well because it sounds very similar to the M7 to my ears. The Bricasti device has a touch more depth to it but Liquid Sonics software is really good as well for my taste.

    Can someone explain his audio routing to me?

    • @sundaymusicBerlin
      @sundaymusicBerlin Před 3 lety +5

      maybe I can: Main Stereo Out from the LIO-8 goes to the Trinnov room correction. Then to Barefoot speakers. Volume is controlled by a midi Device that controls the monitor level inside LIO-8. Second Monitor Out goes to amp goes to small speakers.
      All hardware devices have their own stereo converters for in and out and are treated like insert plug ins in DAW.
      All Synths go to one of two small mixers that go to one of the soundcards.
      Hope this helps.

    • @sundaymusicBerlin
