Many thanks, but I do not agree with the answers related to moving to the Cloud. You can still move from on -premise to the cloud but not necessarily as a new implementation. It is a migration project, to be treated like an so/db migration, kind of with export/import, etc. Please clarify. Thanks.

Hi Vikram, Video is excellent but Video is not complete. Also there is one more migration process has been introduced which is by mapping directly from S/4Hana and ECC
session is good. But he is wrong @1:15:30 Conversion can be both on-prem and Cloud. Z codes can run on both on-prem and cloud. Neither Cloud vendor nor SAP has put any such restrictions.

From Security perspective, when and how does the ECC (ABAP backend) roles are moved during the migration process? Is it through the traditional transport import process? And, which user do you use to login to S4 HANA (new) system to perform the POST-conversion tasks?

I have a question, When u have done S4 HANA the Data is moved only selective data. What are the options if we want to reuse the ECC Data, as We will decommission the ECC System and Not all the data will be converted .

Hi Vikram, I don't have SAP S/4 HANA implantation experience but I work in MDG as a SAP Master Data Manager. I have got a call from a recruiter for a 6 months contract from ECC system to SAP S/4 HANA. So, my question is, do you think after watching the above tutorial I'll be good enough confident to do the job requirements?
Question: if the ERP6.0 is already on cloud, and if we plan to upgrade to S/4 HANA then can we import all the Zreports from ECC to Hana?
As a process of system conversion, will a technical consultant (Basis Admin) decide/activate Business functions or is it a functional consultant call.?
Functional Consultant normally and then there are some by default always active business functions

if i want to migrate sales order from ECC to s/4 hana then we need to configure all order types again in s/4 hana ,same for customer account group in s4 hana
If you are doing system conversion, no need to configure everything again, you just need to perform new configuration which are changed or newly provided
