- Work is progressing in the vegetable garden and the new beds are beginning to take shape! Mummy is so triumphant that she even feels ready to tackle the Mysteries of the Thermomix, much to my great amusement and delight. Diesel has a bath! But, most importantly of all, Scotman begins his treatment and gives us all an update :)

Gerald Grady I hope your radiotherapy sessions are going well. From someone that has had 15 sessions I would just like to say good luck and when you are out at night, like me , you will never need a torch ! Hehe.
Gerald is one of the highlights of the show, as a fellow Scot, I look forwards to him being in the show, his wit and humour and I wish him well in his treatment. I think the nurses are in for a treat and a few laughs, all the best xxx
Gerry’s debut on this channel was of him holding a broken loo seat and interrupting Stephanie whilst she was making a 17th century costume. He was hilarious. I loved when in one of the videos Stephanie caught him singing “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine

Thank you for the laughs and cheer Gerry. I don't think you realize just how much your positivity and cheerfulness has boosted moods around the world. It takes an incredibly strong and brave man to spread so much joy less than an hour after receiving cancer treatment. You are a real treasure. My hat goes off to you. I wish I were just half the amazing man you are.
I know under it all you are still just as human as the rest of us. With that please take time to heal yourself both physically and mentally. We often don't think or talk about how much cancer takes on us emotionally. I choose to laugh just to keep from crying sometimes. And that's ok. In fact we feel better after crying. So I give in sometimes. Then we laugh again and soldier on. You Gerry have handled this fight with such bravery and gusto. Bravo you Gerry.
Perhaps this experience will find you going back to hospitals to cheer up others going through cancer therapy, long after you are in remission.

Mummy! I relate completely!! When I got a dish washer for the first time, I thought how lazy does a person have to be to spend the same amount of time loading and unloading as it does to do them? Oh boy! Did I ajust just fine!! Always a complete pleasure to spend time with two of my favorite ladies!! So excited Selmar is around! He is such a blessing ! I think that ghost sent him!!

I had a long day at work but ... It made my day to see Scott man and praying for his quick recovery. My husband, who does not like to travel, was dragged to Hamburg 4 years ago and had the best vacation with good friends. He knows I have been loving this channel and has just promised to take me back to Europe. I am so excited. Thanks to all of you, each one of you. I enjoy watching your progress in the chateau.

Really enjoyed your visit, we call the sugar, granulated sugar and cake batter not sponge and cookies not biscuits, but to be honest I love the English terms better❣️You bring such joy, love to you all❤️
But the recipe called for baker's sugar, which is a thing in the USA. It's a fine granulated sugar, also referred to as superfine sugar. C&H makes a version. The Brits call it caster sugar. You can usually use regular granulated sugar instead without much issue, or you can make your own by running granulated sugar through a food processor until it's finer.

My health took a turn for the worse so you can imagine how mundane my bedroom and bed has become. Something I can never get my head around is why does cancer come knocking at the doors of the most lovely, vivacious, kind and caring people? Of course I know cancer can affect everyone but it always appears to be those people with such big hearts. I wish Scot Man a full recovery and hope his treatment goes well. You should definitely hold an historical themed ball when covid-19 has died down. I think a lot of costumers in Europe would love to stay in an french chateau! Maybe even make it donation/ticket based so you have an income for the castle!
I love those roses. I asked Michael in his vlog the name of it because he was using one for the cake and he didn’t know. They are so full and huge.

Mummy was so pleased with herself. That was such a joy to watch.
I use the braiding under the slats. That way in summer, when humidity is at its lowest, the slats don't bang about when the twist and wharp when they dry out.
So extremely happy Gerry is healthy again. He is truly a treasure. The family is blessed to have him.
