I feel like you overcorrected that correction. Accuracy reduced to 20% means reduced by 80%, so not really that different from the 90 you mistakenly said. The demoralized squad is not combat effective either way, so your original point stands.

I've learnt a lot by watching you and mr.landsharks cast, thanks. Starting to learn how to play chaos atm. The early defense is so good. And the fight with bloodthirster is just chaos. :D
I remember the pre patch (the one and only offical patch ever for SS) Dais of Destruction. The Dark Scythe ability squad wiped any full hp infantry unit in its radius. Fun times for DE players.
A lot of the time I’m pressuring on the relic, and making ‘questionable’ trades, the goal is to keep denying his relic and to keep that gen unbuilt. That gen was unbuilt for like 5 mins, and he didn’t have an LP built on the relic for like 9 mins. At 8:25 I knew there were too many marines there, I go in just for the heretic snipe. Definitely some micro mistakes from me, but I think it’s a pretty good example of one of the few semi-reliable ways to win this matchup. Especially considering the distraction of Vietnamese/Spanish/Swedish autists in vc 😂
Do you think Scourges did anything useful? They are so squishy and expensive while Wytches with their squad leader and drugs dish out good ranged damage to all units while on the move.
From what I can gather from watching AlixUK and Astrohero breaking down this matchup, the matchup is kinda favored to DE's side. The early game is just too mutch. ofc it changes tier 2 and beyond, but I think this is not supose to be fun for Chaos. Was a sick game to watch tho!
Absolutely not. Considered amongst the most broken matchups in the game, heavily Chaos favoured. DE only gets the advantage back in T4 - the struggle is to get there
I will correct myself a bit after looking into those old videos so thank you for that, but would you not say the early advantage goes to DE (Helions and jetbikes and early harass)? I would believe the matchup works a little bit like SM who struggle vs DE in the early game, and chaos is more vulnerable against early harass due to low hp units right? @@DuzzyministerWhilst DE’s army could probably beat Chaos in a straight fight, that’s not how the matchup is played. All DE players will do exactly what Qbebab does in this game - wait in base behind imba turrets/LP2s, which do excellent vehicle_low damage. DE has a very limited (~3 min) window to harass cultists and heretics, after that it’s not really possible. Then you wait for the inevitable Defiler spam which will counter all your T2 and T3 army. If Chaos go nadecult, it’s even worse. The grenades will disrupt and stun the bikes. Not to mention the AoE, damaging multiple bikes when stacked. On Emerald River, sure, DE probably has an advantage over Chaos similar to the SM matchup. On these standard maps where the points are closer together, and easier to cap/defend; heavily Chaos favoured

Here I am thinking Titans fall, Outer Reaches, Battle Marshes, Tranquilitys end, Maybe even Quest Triumphs, Fallen City all maps that has terrain (sometimes heavy terrain) and has split out points@@thekezDoWSSUK
Whats wrong with these guys playing defilers on range? Do they know they can go melee with them and deal insane vehicle and building dmg? Infantry too ofc but not enough cc
