Hello, my car is micra xv 2012, I parked it after driving it a day before, today it's not getting started, battery checked it was down, got it recharged, again it is not starting, mechanic says it's ECM problem, but the didn't show indication on dashboard as you told, is the mechanic right or there may be some other problem ? If ECM then what is the cost of repair please guide.

My HONDA AMAZE car ECM is replaced in authorised service centre. They said it is due to short-circuit, rats got inside idle kept car since 3.5 months. Can this be a valid reason? Though they couldn't tell which wires rats made naked ? Hw to know ECM has crashed ?
I recently changed my ECU (Tata tiago NTG AMT), but in my case first two days before new ECU I was not able to start the car, then suddenly one day car got started. But check engine light continually on and no performance issue while driving the car.
But after checking the car by SC guy they suggested to replace the ECU. Post new ECU I am not facing check engine light issue.
It on warranty period so it is free for me.
Please provide your suggestion for future.

I have 2.8G AT TOYOTA CRYSTA 2017 Model. Since Few days we notice Car giving jerks while driving with some warning signs on the screen. We shown to ALLAHABAD Toyota Company, they said Computer body need to be replaced, they replaced but the problem still remains. jerk still there, warning still there, and with accelerator car speed not increasing as suppose to. Now they are saying the ECM needs to ve replace the cost will be around 60-65KINR. the said no. P062D. on-screen signs are apearing 1- Triangular and another alert " CHECK ENGINE VISIT YOUR DEALER". Please if you can help and advise, is it really ECM needs to be replaced??

mera wagonr mein jo speedometer ka backlight hai woh on ho jata hai sab light band hone ke bawjut. flicker karta rehta hai. baaki sab light theek chal raha hai. kabhi kabhar light ko half on karta hoon (side lamp mode) tabh backlight aur saamne ka chota sa jo white light hota hai, aur front panel (ac wagerah) ka bhi light nahi jalta.. kabhi on off karne se wapas chalne lagta hai.. on karne ke time kat karke ek aawaz aata hai andar kahi se tab jalta hai nahi to jalta nahi

Hi, I have a vento. There is some Ac problem, nothing wrong with the cooling at all, but it trips from time to time and starts to work again with great cooling. I contacted Vw service, and they said the Ecm has a problem. But after having researched, my car has no symptoms of a bad ECM. There is no illumination lights upon starting nor do I have problems in the ignition. Is it possible that the problem of Ac could be because of ECM. Thanks
