      Wow that friggin slide can really mess things up, even if it’s only a small amount. Sometimes it creeps in when you’re thinking smoke it. lol

    This is some great teaching by you guys. Man this guy really is strong through the ball. Once he gets these great lessons dialed in, he'll be pounding it.

    This and the second part of this video are going to help me so much. Just wish I found these earlier!

    OMG...this video totally changed my impact consistency. As a lefty golfer who tends to sway back and get stuck on my rear leg I was getting very frustrated with fat and thin shots. Using your front leg tip and and going down with my front knee has totally stabilized my torso and I'm able to use the ground as leverage during transition. It's not perfect yet but what a great new feel to rely on. Awesome stuff

    Ok what's awesome about this is sometimes it's hard to watch a pro show how to fix something using themselves as the example because even the bad from a pro still doesn't look that bad, taking a true amateur and showing the contrast of the before and after goes miles further in my mind of how certain things can completely change the swing.

  • @briangorgei7015
    @briangorgei7015 Před rokem

    Eric I fight the sway bad also, I wonder with the front knee going forward, especially with the driver, seems like would be real hard to hit upward without falling back at impact. Especially considering you always hear hit upward with driver

  • @juanbotha6634
    @juanbotha6634 Před rokem +1

    Hi Eric. One of my faults has always been that I pull the club to inside on the backswing then club comes across the line at the top which then results is steep downswing.
    From this video it looks like the advice is to swing more around your body.
    Doesnt this result in bringing club too much inside body?
    Thanks

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  Před rokem +1

      Hey Juan!
      Yes....the key really is your HANDS and ARM should go in as you turn.....but not the club itself
      For you having the club head outside your hands as your hands still work in is what you want to do to help get the opposite reaction (shallow downswing)

  • @simmo5071
    @simmo5071 Před rokem +1

    Why is this not a reverse pivot position? Or are you getting him to exaggerate the movement for feel versus real.

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  Před rokem

      Exactly. He needs to FEEL wildly forward because of how much he was swaying back👍

  • @timgunner2874

    Who was the golfer on the left in the video?

  • @standlegweak9854
    @standlegweak9854 Před rokem +2

    Improvement here is best done by exaggerating the movement you want. For example, Eric should ONLY produce amateur live lesson videos 24 hours a day for the next 30 days.

    I think I have diagnosed this guy's golfing issues and I think it starts with him standing on the incorrect side of the club at address
    All downhill from there
