My wife Ashley left our marriage in August of last year, because I was heavily oppressed by a spirit of suicide and depression for the last six years. Her leaving caused me to turn to Jesus for help, so I know He had to let her leave to get my full attention. I know I'm late to this prayer party but if you see this please pray for my husband. A year and a half ago he had a tumor removed from his leg that involved major surgery, partly removing his bone and having a cadaver bone and plate put in. Chemo and radiation. He was declared cancer free.. Today he said he feels a pain on the other side of that leg that feels just like when his first tumor was hurting him. I have no words right now to describe my feelings...

That was definitely me a while ago. I prayed for career direction because I graduated in 2019 with a degree in animation with still no job. I was considering going back to school for medical illustration (even spoke with an advisor) but still applied for jobs in my field while praying for direction. Pretty soon, I got an entry level job that’s within my field! God answered my prayer :)
I am 2 weeks late to the prayer party but hopefully, someone can pray for me. I have been struggling with staying consistent with anything that I do. I have learned that I am codependent. It is easier for me to encourage others and cheer them to their finish line. I am praying that I can feel more confident in myself and I can be independent. I am praying that I am more confident that God is all I need by my side. He is my cheerleader! I just turned 31 and I feel lost in life. I have a Master's degree and feel as if it is worthless. If I may share from my own experience, my breaking started with tithing. All the way down to saying "Lord you know I don't want to do this, but it is yours." He knows you don't want to give but give it and be honest with him.

You don’t have the ability to be fake with God, he knows you better then you do, come to him as you would come to a best friend. Pray in reverence but don’t be afraid to be yourself with him. He created yourself to be in relationship with him and your personality was designed specifically by God for you to use in communication with him. Like for example, I say all the time that I know God has a since of humor, because he created me, I don’t know how, but I keep people laughing, I’m funny and I really don’t try, but when I do try, I crack myself up. Haha. But when I go to God in prayer I’m just real with him about everything on my heart, I’ll be like God I am a big fat broken mess right now and I don’t know what to do! I done yelled at my kids, I can’t seem to get nothing right today and I just want to go back to bed, please give me a fresh perspective, give me your eyes to see what I’m missing with my own eyes, let the scales fall off Lord! I need to turn this outlook on my day around, and walk right. Guide me, convict me, guard my mouth, you know I talk wild sometimes Lord, drop your peace on me so no desire of retaliation in argument will even rise up, Lord make my desire to do what’s right in your sight be greater then temptation.
