- Hello CZcamsrs! In this video, JC Torres installs Boyesen Power Reeds on his rejuvenated vintage 1977 Suzuki PE250B. An hourmeter is also installed in this video also. The spark plug was replaced, air filter replaced and plastics given some TLC. He bought this moto a few years ago as a bucket and pallet of parts and reassembled and brought her back to life as well as replacing the cracked upper triple tree. Nice job, bike sounds good. I just picked up a 1977 PE250 and can’t wait to go through it so I can start riding it. It’s about 90% complete. Needs a top end, seals and carby kit.

Why not pull the cylinder to clean the piston crown? That way you don't send carbon down into the ring-to-piston surface and ring groove.....
