Just watched Animal House the other night and looked up the song featured throughout, “Louie Louie”. Found that it inspired psyche rock, the remix, and ultimately, a show I grew up watching (much like the aforementioned movie’s featured song). My mind was blown.

Amazing. I literally kept saying I need a full version of the intro with the original and this is it. I love how I first found out about psyche rock from mean girls in the scene where she throws the papers of the burn book. also this is perfect but it could be even better if you ended it with the Futurama ending of the intro when the spaceship crashes

Dude, credit where credit is due. This is fat boy slim involved in both tracks. It's Fat Boy Slim's remix of Psyche Rock, and Fat Boy Slim's samples are used in the Futurama theme. He's actually in both tracks.

I swear the bells are the exact same. I swear I cannot hear a difference other than pitch. Were they just straight sampled from Psyche Rock? For real though, I swear Futurama has the best theme I've ever heard and this mashup with the OG Psyche Rock is just great. Edit: I guess I swear a lot. Fuck.

Maybe. When I uploaded the video one non official link was crediting fatboy slim and the ones that didn't credit him seemed more legit. So I didn't. But now it looks like its the opposit so I'm confused 😂
