- Thirteen (13) Ghanaian explorers completes their 10,000-kilometers car drive from Accra, Ghana, to London, UK.
They had several stops not only fill up their tanks but to also repair their broken down vehicles.
For the Accra to London journey, the explorers deployed 5 vehicles, Lexus RX and a Ford Raptor pickup truck.
Others cars in the entourage includes a Mercedes-Benz G-Class (G-Wagon) and a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 SUVs. - Zábava

You guys should've filmed a documentary on this, it would've been incredible. There're several film companies out there who will happily do it for free and even pay you for it.

Mr Sheldon back in 1977 summer time one of your uncles by the name Uncle Joe old school German BORGA also drove all the way from Hamburg to Pepease Kwahu Ghana without GPS, walkie talkies, power steering, manual gear, hydraulic suspension etc. Please ask Grandma Adwubi and Uncle ESUM for detail information, Uncle Joe was an old school Dakar rally and Formula1 car driving fanatic.

has any group or individuals done this in Africa? If not GWR should take note. This is very impressive. I still think the entire African community should have been notified so that they can turn out to welcome them. This is reemergence of Africa.
Yes people have been doing it for years. Mostly Senegalese and Gambians. Even recently a Nigerian rode a motorcycle from London to Lagos. This might be new in Ghana, which is commendable, but it's not something new among west Africans.
