Admitting that you were scammed is almost as hard as being scammed. I think that's why more people don't talk about it. I'm so sorry that happened to you guys. You are the last people on earth to deserve it.
TRUTH! and that's so crucial to the CONfidence of the CON artist(s), they laugh all the way to the bank knowing the people they burned, their victims, their prey, will never tell anyone because they are ashamed and embarrassed for having been scammed, therefore it just makes it all the easier for the scammers to keep on scamming.
I would argue its relatively easy to he scammed.

I say yes to showing the pictures of the scammers. No, it is not wrong to share information that may save another person from falling prey to a harmful situation.
Wouldn't recommend it, unless you can show his/her face whilst showing the person in act(whilst scamming).
You both are such beautiful people, and it’s so unfortunate that people take your kindness and faith for others for granted. I hope they got caught for scamming you, and I think the gym ownership for your family would still be a wonderful investment!
I loved this style of video from y’all! I’ve come across many, many influencers who I adore, offer podcasts and I could never get into it or be interested. This is the first time I’ve listened to a podcast style and was HOOKED. You both are amazing parents with similar values we teach to our own family. I would hands down listen to more videos like this!

Sometimes the scammers seem sketchy and your gut feeling kicks in. Others it's not so easy be careful
This rlly shocks me how there are people who will appreciate your kindness while there are some who will take advantage of it. Kindness is general can be used as an act of empathy or as a weapon of deception.

I have been scammed a few times, one that i still will never forget about and i am still upset about today. I wish i spoke out about it but as you mentioned in the podcast, i felt embarrassed that i fell for it.

9:30 is so true,here's something whenever you try to work into a new thing or try something everyone is trying,there is higher chances of getting scammed,like last year for example NFTs were the biggest thing ,everyone tells you that it's easy money,and they teach you everything but not telling you that it's a community of scams,didn't about that until I tried it and got scammed multiple times,*you need to be aware!*

My close friends grandma has been scammed out of almost $100,000 and it left her completely homeless. She had a home with chickens and dogs and she ended up on the sidewalk in front of her house, all because of scams. She was still under the impression that the scammer (who she was still actively talking to) was on the way to pick her up, so it took a lot for me to convince her to let me take her to a hotel.
that's a perfect video for youtube because recently there are a lot of bots scamming people on youtube saying you won this and that even on your channel I encountered them,hopefully they stop

I was simply selling my college books.
I was convinced that the person I was to send it to owned a book store.
I had to send my books to a different province and I didn't hesitate one bit because I honestly didn't think that I would be scammed selling my textbooks.
The payment that person gave me was a cheque. And it had my name handwritten on it and it made it look believable. So I deposited it in my account.
The cheque had an excess amount because as the scammer said "Would you be okay distributing the excess to other students who I also bought the books from?"
The biggest red flag was that the scammer asked me to buy gift cards.
I KNEW that it was a red flag and I checked my bank account first to make sure the cheque cleared.
The cheque indeed cleared. However when I had already paid for the gift cards, it turned out the cheque cleared in my account before it all bounced out.
The gift cards were non-refundable.

When I was in my early twenties, I was running errands with my dad and I needed to withdrawal cash from an ATM. He was in the driver’s seat, so I assumed I’d hand him my debit card and tell him my PIN. He pulled into the ATM backwards so I could do it myself. I was like, “Dad, are you serious? You’re my dad; I trust you.” He then told me to trust no one, not even him. He said desperation trumps loyalty every single time. I think of that moment every time money is involved with anyone; family, friend, or otherwise.
We worked for everything, we understand the value of the dollar . Best sentences!

thats crazy... i mean good on you guys for having a heart but i suppose these experiences as unfortunate as they are, taught you that not everyone is good of heart, and not everyone is honest and noble and willing to keep their word
I felt tired all of the time for the last year straight even if I get 8 to 10 hours of sleep,but I lived with a Gaslighter for several years and I had to put him in jail for elderly abuse and scamming people including me and I'm an Empath so it took a lot out of me to the point I'm still exhausted!

Sorry you got scammed. More than the money, the betrayal of the trust & friendship must have hurt a lot.
CZcams/other creators should be able to put you in touch with security consultant. Harden your devices. Set up a vetting process. Contracts & background checks for investments.
