Mike, go ahead and get both. You only live once... Anybody who collects sneakers go through the same thing that you go through. You look at your collection and you're like I don't need all these shoes and then you start selling them off. You get rid of five pair and then turn around and 8 comes back so it's a love hate relationship

Both pairs are dope. I hit for the Photon Dusk yesterday from AMM site. I want the black pair too but man it’s getting expensive! Lol. 🤦🏾♂️

Definitely the better pair out of the two. A nice change up compared to the typical AMM color blocking of maroon, burgundy, wine.
I surprisingly got a W on the A Ma Maniere raffle last night which never happens. Definitely wasn't expecting that at all. The details on this shoe are very nice. Glad to add to my collection. Now I want both 🤔 👍💰💰

I just recently got my Class B license for my job. I always think about you when I think about driving. I don't wear my heaters in the truck either, loI. I only buy retro J's. I think I was wanting something more from the AMM 5s. But maybe I should appreciate them for keeping them more simplistic and focusing on keeping the heritage intact?

Oh wow. THAT white durabuck is what they need to use when they make reimagined white cement 4s whenever they make them. That’s how the OGs were. Only the retros used leather. But it looks so much like actual leather that it would get the job done. Now that we know that they can get the OG shape right cuz of the SB 4s and now that these 5s show that they can make white durabuck look good, they better not fuck those up.

The Dawn pair is the cleanest one IMO 🔥 the Nike air and 23 stitch pops with the blue. Just got my dub yesterday but honestly man I would cop both!……… IF and only if the black ones go below retail 😂
I think this pair is the better pair out of the 2. Still not copping but I will say it's an amazing shoe!
I feel the same about my collection. It’s steel toe boots all week and only weekends for the sneakers. But even then I don’t go out as much anymore so my slides or crocs see more wear than my collection.
The black pair should have came with that au ma maniere, burgandy crush color and the Nike Air should have been same that color.

I grabbed the Dawn pair from raffle that’s all I needed. Black pair is super clean tho but don’t need anymore burgundy hits in the collection. Grabbed the Wheats on FNL reservations so I’m good until the aprils and Kobe’s

I’m in the same situation I can’t wear them everyday because of where I work I will mess them up instantly. But I still try to throw all my shoes on rotation on off days and before and after work
Same problem bro! The Dusk are harder and you will wear them more. The Dawn's you will worry about getting dirty bc they WILL attract dirt easily... this less wears
Both are a definite cop. Same shoe but the colors hit so different it’s almost two different shoes. They’ll definitely give two distinct looks but both very clean imo
The white ones are better, you can put them with jeans and wear them with anything. Since that blue is kind of close to a jean color can wear these with anything, and since it's pissy bottoms, you don't ever have to worry about the ever being a problem, these are the better versions. In my opinion people do not wear black and Burgundy More people wear this color so I would wear and buy this color over the black ones. Black ones look nice though these look better anne could be worn with more
I feel your pain I’m a truck driver but I work 6 days I have bout 225 ish pair of kicks & I feel I can’t no more!! At least you get a couple days to rock yours! I said all this to say…. Just when you think you have it bad 💯🤣🤣🤣

I like both too but I gotta choose one. For the fact more upcoming drops are coming and I know I’m stacking up more boxes by the end of next year lol. Then you got them amm 3 and 4 coming up next fall. I gotta be super selective with what I choose 💯

If you not going to wear both then don’t keep both. Keep the one you like the most and will wear.

I'm the same way with my shoes. I have to find somewhere to go in order to wear my shoes. I work a lot but still buy most of the Jordan releases. November and December isn't doing me any justice as far as copping shoes. The Jordan 14 Black Suede is the last pair I'm gonna cop them I'm taking a break until the Reimagined 4s release

The padding adds to the comfort, rocking Chinatown Market x Chicago duo three-pea x tCon 70 and lack of tech kills the feets, so I need the padding for comfort in older age.
You really spittin facts tho. It’s crazy because I think the same way. It’s like should I buy it just because I like em. And you’re right there’s SNKRS I’ve owned for the past 5 years and I only get to wear them once a year and I put them away until the next summer or year. It gets exhausting tryna keep up with all these releases.

Passed on these but entered for the Dusk pair. It’s crazy how low the AMM 12s dropped and that has me a little weary on these if I can get them way below retail later on. Weird that they also removed the bulb at the ankle like those DJ Khaled 5s.
I say ... buy one.. and if the other drops below retail ... go for it.

I feel ya about not getting around to wearing your shoes and not wanting them to sit. I got into the sneaker game WAAAY late and have a fraction of the amount you have and still don't know how I'm gonna wear them all. Plus, I'm 40+ and will ALWAYS love sneakers but debating on if I still want to be copping the last shoes into my 50s or if I want to switch up my style for a more "grown man" approach 😂. Non the less both of these shoes are 🔥🔥🔥

I got the W for the Dawns, men’s size 11( 12.5W). These are dope! I hope everyone gets a W on their selection also. It’s the Blue that won me over color-wise. My first collaboration purchase.

I’m a truck driver as well and understand when you say you can’t wear them to work. I don’t go out enough to just be buying shoes like I used to. Now I’m more selective on what I’m buying. Sometimes I just look at the shoes in my sneaker room like “it’s kinda pointless having all of the sneakers”
Thank god i can actually wear the sneakers with the insoles in lol. Cause its annoying when it peels off after the second wear.
I prefer the black ones. That burgundy hit on the shark teeth goes with all the other AMM sneakers, like fall colors. I only like the 23 on these Photon Dust ones.

Being an Olhead, AMM will be copped at every drop. Both 5s are 🔥. Having a pair of kicks for everyday of the year is tough to get through when your not in these streets like that. Normally I wear my J's to correlate with the month. Collegiate dunks, nikes and Js on Saturdays. And I match what evever silhouette I going to pick up.

The black pair gives me og metallic 5s vibe. And that's my favorite pair of all time so I have to get the black pair. The blue im debating about as a collector I would like to have them. But I don't really want them as much

Boff of em clean as hell but for me personally I'm burgundy crushed out. I've touched all the a ma's and I lean more towards the diffused blue just for something different.
The Photon Dusk are colder in my opinion. I got rid of 80% of my collection because I rarely wore my shoes. I work 5/6 days a week and still have some shoes I bought in 2021 that I still haven’t wore like that lol. I used the money I got from selling them to fund my retirement. I figured I’m better off using the money instead of the shoes in the future.
