    Thank you very much for this video it made my life easier ohnestly for not checking torque spec on the sparkplugs.
    Sidenote I did swap mine for CYFS12Y1 (like factory ones) I checked gaps with new and old.
    New were up to spec 0,35-0,36 gap. Old ones however were 0.7 to worst offender 0.81 (mind you that I had changed mine at 51000 KILOMETERS (that's around 31 600 miles).
    So umm... Yea fun engine easy to work on however I would say - dont cheap out on parts and cut maintenece in half at least.
    (same with PTU and Trans - flush PTU each 2nd oil change and auto trans each 4th one).
    I think poor MPG might be somewhat issue from bad spark plugs, and oils breakdown.

    Can you make a list of the items you purchased?
    This looks like a easy day maintenance that I can start off with. Very clear video and instructions so much appreciated. Saved me money with a big name mechanical shop.

      If you buy a mechanics tool set, they may have them in there. Make sure your check though. I bought a $450 master mechanics tool set from homedepot and it came with everything. But you could get a decent set for around $80

    Hey brother great content. I have the same car. Where do you check the transmission fluid? My car is hard to shift to park lately or coming out of park shifting. Im suspecting that my transmission fluid maybe needs to change or low. I just acquired this from bank repo which have been stuck from quite sometime for sure

      Hey there. Unfortunately i dont have the vehicle anymore, and i never got too deepninto the transmission. I believe there is a plug on the side to check it. You may have to look up a diagram.

    Which socket have you used 16mm or 5/8 ?

    • @unintendedpurposes
      @unintendedpurposes  Před 3 lety +1

      The i believe i state the socket sizes in the video. But for the spark plugs you should need a 5/8" socket.

    Im confused on what spark plug code to use.. Im seeing SP-520, SP-530 and SP-535 for ford ecosport..
    Wats the right.spark plug for ecosport 2015 automatic? Ty

    • @unintendedpurposes
      @unintendedpurposes  Před 2 lety

      In the video i used SP-535. But the correct plug may vary based on the motor you have. Be sure to ask about the correct plugs at your local ford dealer.
