THis is a MOnday episode most likely, since they're starting at the beginning of the game. It's not the debut episode, since there's a return tripper. After 12/15/1989, they aired only reruns, so this could be a rerun from 12/25/89(presumably 9/25/89 or 1/1/89(10/2/89). Infinte Voyage aired on 1/8 and the sitcom Grand debuted on 1/18/1990
@@maxvolumeonguitar82 It does come from KRON. John Harlan announced the first week of shows, and this is not from the first week of shows because a contestant is said to be a return tripper from the previous week. I'm estimating the airdate based on the reference to a commercial for a show airing on 1/8
I like Jackpot I watch it on the USA network when I was a kid it's still great today and it should come back one day. 😀👍
My FAVORITE back in the day game show! Hope to see more "Jackpot!" episodes from the 1989 version soon!
This theme music, written by Bob Cobert was first used on the 1977 NBC game show "Shoot For The Stars" which was also hosted by Geoff Edwards.
@16:01, I didn't know Stanley Zbornak did this commercials.
@7:50, I didn't know Orville Redenbacher had a son, 1st time I seen him
Hey this show is taped off of KRON 4 in San Francisco but it could've picked up on KTVU Channel 2 in Oakland instead of KRON 4.
Isn't that correct answer bell the same one used on WOF?
The second riddle answer on this episode is wrong. It's "fender". Remember: fender front, bumper back.
