for that reason i’d like to sincerely thank everyone who worked on Bocchi the Rock and her everyday life as an introvert with social anxiety, it’s nice to have something/-one to relate to!

Out of the comedy, the series is painfully relatable. I mean it when I say "painfully". Because it perfectly portrays the mindset of such a person: unreasonable arrogance and at the same time self-hatred and self-neglecting, constant pitying oneself, constant lying to everyone in order to create and keep a fake "nice" image making an impression of an insincere human being, looking for joy in fantasies because of inability to cope with life difficulties, denial accepting the world as it is, belief that when something does not come easy, it's not worth it/you are not worth it and so on and so forth. I can go on further describing how it feels like to be someone like Bocchi. I would NEVER believe that the author of this story made it up or studied psychology to show the living in social anxiety so truthful and accurate. He/she must have been through it and must have been fighting with it for a long while. NO WAY would I believe the opposite.

This is me. What the hell. I'm not saying it as in part of the meme, no this is actually me somehow. Putting on a facade so people don't worry about me, feeling as if I have nothing to contribute to in life. Should've told my therapist about all this stuff I feel when I had a chance, because now I don't need to see them anymore thanks to what I've said to cover up everything. I feel as if I just. Am there. Don't have anything going personally, just sitting there. No big events happening in my life, i just feel as if I'm a placeholder for something meant for more, just there in the meantime before there actually is anything meant to happen, with somebody else in the place where I was there to have something happen. Almost like the world would be a better place without me, but I can't let that happen. Enemies to outlive and people to spite.
@@random_bored_idiot I do recommend you to read the light novel of Sugaru Miaki "Three days of happiness" or its manga adaptation "I sold my life for 10 000 yens per year". It is about a lost dude who at a certain point finds himself broke and totally unpleasant with the way he lives. So, he decides to sell his lifespan for cash. And now he starts reflecting upon his past life and thinking of what he has to do with the rest of that.
While reading, I even had a moment when I cried because of feeling inner pain. But the ending, man, it is very worth to experience. Such a story made me think over my life, its past and future. I look forward to seeing what impressions you’ll have.

What's funny is that Kita is singing those lyrics, which are kinda gloomy and such but actually most of Kessoku band's songs are kinda gloomy and with sad lyrics like this song. This is because Bocchi writes the lyrics in the anime. And the cheerful, bright, outgoing Kita has to sing about loneliness and struggle.
There's even a bit somewhere in there where Bocchi realizes how odd it is for Kita to be singing her lyrics

If bocchi was in real life she wouldnt be treated this way, shed literally be counted as an outcast and a weirdo, shows how cruel humanity and the world is in general, Bocchi represents social anxiety in a way i've never thought of before, this anime told me how hard it is to overcome anxiety, thank you bocchi.

The most incredible thing about BTR is that much more than an incredibly well-made show, it was a social phenomenon that brought hundreds of thousands of people all over the internet together for an almost festival-like experience.
Even now two years later you can see every second of a third anon on Discord having a mutual BTR server with you. It's almost like a Fight Club member acknowledgement: you don't really talk to each other, but you know that in Fall 2022 you both experienced _this_ .

This is truly one of the most soul touching amvs I have ever seen. That powerful moment in the beginning after the fish video is so good, so I'm tickled by my whole existence. Thank you a lot for the work of the soul
as someone with ongoing social anxiety (that's just starting to improve recently) I really do appreciate this anime/manga for letting me feel comfort in situations that would usually flair up my social anxiety. not only that, but as many people who've watched this show have said. there are many of us who can relate to Bocchi herself (me included) which really just shows how well Cloverworks (the people behind the anime) and Hamazi (the mangaka herself) did an amazing job with portraying Bocchi's social anxiety all the while adding in humor so that we can have a laugh at the things many of us struggle with in our day-to-day lives.
After watching episode 12, I've went on to reading the manga and i've never felt more motivated to put more work towards my own dreams/goals while putting myself in very, anxiety-inducing social situations in order to improve my social skills until now. this series has also helped me realize and acknowledge my own talents which in a way, makes me feel better about myself and to add onto this, i'm even considering picking up Guitar again (after giving up 2 years ago) just because this series has rekindled my interest and appreciation for music and playing instruments as a whole. It's definetly another skill I'd like to add to my list.
Anyways that's enough rambling but in general, I'm just glad that a show/manga exists that many people can relate to and as someone who's reading the manga I REALLY cannot wait for Season 2 of the anime to come out.
Just finished the season and currently listening to some soundtracks of it, and i agree.
My dream is to draw and soon make videos online but there are times where I wanted to give up drawing as many people at my age are miles ahead of me than I am.
But after watching this anime, it made want to keep going despite the hardships going my way. When Bocchi started pulling off that clutch guitar solo in that one episode, i genuinely felt happy for her. She was not having it
There's also this one dialogue from Ryo when she talked to Bocchi at that restaurant that stuck with me throughout the show, and that is about how you need to do and say what you want to, and not what others want you to say and do as it's the equivalent of killing yourself.

Dude I'm like 50 of these views and I can fully recognize how sad that is. That's not a dig at the video or creator at all, the editing is really good and for sure one of the reasons it's stuck with me so much. This song makes Bocchi's massive dreams and desire to connect with people feel so desperate and anxious and overwhelming. I think a lot of people in my life are feeling that way right now, so it's cool to see someone use the relatable funny anime girls and mold them into this weird funhouse mirror of those emotions.

I just want to say this video is incredibly emotionally devestating to me. I keep coming back to watch it and I really feel like I connect with just the vibes and feelings on display here. The music and Bocchi's desperate outreach to find people to connect with, but constantly being on edge about not being good enough for them and feeling like an outcast even though she's in a group who care about her. I identify so strongly with all of these emotions and struggle with it a lot myself. I don't know how else to word it but this video just destroys me, but like in a cathartic way that provides some relief in hard times. Thank you for this.
