With all the hype over compliant mechanisms in the engineering world, I'm actually surprised that it took them this long to try it out for transformers. Supposedly, compliant mechanisms are more wear resistant than traditional linkages, so providing they don't cheap out too much and use a brittle material, it should be fine.
TF1, ROTF, and DOTM are always gonna be the GOATs of Movie toys to me, everything fell off by the time AOE came out and when the one steps were introduced☠️
I mean. It's definitely gonna break pretty quick but so do pretty much any toy in the hands of a kid. It seems perfect for playing, no complex transformations plus it's just one motion. I could see kids absolutely loving these things
Honestly for all of the cheaper and supposedly “more efficient and better” modern transformers toys, aside from the potential breaking, this is pretty cool to me
In my honest opinion, I think it is an awesome idea. It reminds me of the (transformium-nanotech)deceptions from age of Extinction. My only criticism is that it should come with replacement bands in case they fail.
The transformation itself looks quite cool with it sort of flipping inside out in a pretty swift motion. The bands are quite ugly though on the car mode.
Just wait until the rubber dry rots
Don't see this thing lasting, but the creativity with this design is definitely there!
Your production quality is insane. The lighting, angle, and audio. Chefs kiss. Subbed
Good 'ol hasbro. Giving fans the middle finger ever since AOE
Hasbro is just scamming children and parents at this point.
Questionable longevity aside this is absolutely amazing from a gimmick perspective. It's unique and looks like fun
This looks like the quick transfor the transformers do in the middle of a fight and I like it for that.

Hasbro simplified the 1 step changers for budget cuts💀

I’m seeing this the same day as Robosen revealing Grimlock.

Looks way better than the actual nightbird we got
I’d give it 8 out of 10 for being so simple. My toddler loves his and is happy with the simple transformation.
If nothing else, the transformation is interesting without being frustrating.
For me personally, this is a good figure.

next thing we know, Hasbro gives un Non-Transformable, Non-mobile, Unpainted figures.
