Surprised at the amount of negative comments for this vid. I think Taco does really well with his content..always thinking about how to make it a better experience for us subbies. I guess it could be a bit frustrating for him to read some of them when he tries so hard. Maybe we should try appreciating the effort he puts in rather than being nitpicky about what he hasn’t shown in the unit or banging on about how he got a picked over unit. Keep doing what you’re doing Taco..your vids are great just the way they are 👍

Optical illusion...those were early 60's science kits. My dad was science teacher and got them for us. Brought back good memories. Also, the press lights or tap lights are great to have on hand for power outages. HAndy for lighting hallways and rooms during hurricane season. The Bell and Howell lights went on a light bar to hold while filming 8 mm home movies. More good memories.

Between that sealed Schmid Manhattan puzzle and those microwavable booties, you will come pretty close to paying for that unit if you list them on eBay and ask buyer to pay shipping. The Schmid puzzles can sell for pretty good money and that's definitely one that is desirable.

FYI- By law, the storage facility can break the lock, take pictures, and close it and place a security lock on the unit. Since they only have a security lien against the property - they are not permitted to go shopping or to stage the items. PERIOD. If you have seen this happen you need to report the storage unit facility to the Justice Department for violating the lien law. This unit was clearly gone through and then staged.

In the 90s when I was growing up, you could buy the McDonald's cups and glasses. They sometimes came with meals, but it was mostly a few bucks to get them. I'm not sure about the eras before that. Of course McDonald's doesn't do as many movie and tv show themed meals anymore. It was all about marketing deals back then. My family had a large collection of those.

We had a Bell and Howell home movie camera in the early 60s. If you were filming indoors, there was a metal frame that attached to the side of the camera. It held lights that were extremely bright; that's why so many people are squinting in older home movies. You could land a plane with those things! I believe that may have been what you got in the box.

McDonald's gave away the Garfield cups as a promotion...also be on the lookout for the McDonald's drinking glasses. They were so cool and can sell for a good price for a set.

Blue Bus Dave has an friend from the UK specialized in the smallest plastic part of Action Figures. He (David or Michael?) has his own channel on CZcams as well but can't recall the name. There are videos of him and BBD taking apart the tiniest plastic parts, incredible to me.😃

"Stereoscope", also you should Google "stereopticon". You are missing the cross-piece that holds the card. That piece also slides back and forth to focus the view on the card.

Your filming was great, good angles. I like the floral pitcher in the last crate.

So the McDonald’s glasses were put on display in a plastic case at the end of the counter. They were in sets and you could only get certain glasses at certain times then another one would be available after a few weeks or so in order. You also had to buy a meal.

That wooden box can be a campers kitchen from way back in the day.

    It’s called a stereoscope. I don’t think it was all there .
