ohh man that's going to hurt for a while. my uncle broke his in similar situation but he tore his ACL in his knee also at the same time.... that's pain I wouldn't wish on anyone... try keeping it elevated as much as possible it helps
I broke my heel when young , had my lower leg and foot in plaster and after a week or so they plastered on a rubber peg thing under the middle of the foot so I could walk . Hope your heel heals fast Donny , I still have a couple of CCR albums , good music .
I understand. Had my knee replaced 5 weeks ago. Donny it's teaching me how to sit still. And treat yourself right. Do what the doctors say & be patient. Wishing you a speedy recovery my friend. Later.

Sorry to hear about your foot Donny. I had an accident a few days ago that really messed my knee up. Interestingly I experienced very little pain until 3:45 am the next morning. I was unable to get off the couch and get to some pain meds, the pain reached a point were I passed out from it for 4 hrs. Accidents Suck! Eat lots of meat and very low carb, no alcohol, no seed oils, or processed garbage, sugar, and possibly dairy. You will want to reduce your carb intake slowly over a couple weeks. Proper nutrition promotes proper healing. You don't want to be eating crap that only causes more inflammation in your entire body preventing it from focusing it's resourses on healing your foot faster. Take care.
Been there Sir , I have had a teribble bone break. Honestly the surgery is faster recovery and i think you will be back in the shop in 2-3 weeks overdoing it lol. get well sir we will all be watching your YT
About 7yrs ago I was going out onto my porch in the middle of the night to grab firewood to bring in to the stove, dropped a piece of wood on my bare foot.. that HURT! I however went back inside and went back to sleep.. well it actually broke the bone right in between the area of the toes and leg.. never got it fixed, still to this day you can feel the crooked bone.. almost never hurts or anything. That's the only true injury I ever got from firewood. 😅
I know how you feel my friend. I got pinched sciatic nerve. Doc told me to take it easy till they fix me but trees can't get climbed or cut if I'm laid up. Get well

64 building a house by myself fell 3 weeks ago and broke some ribs set up in a chair for 3 nights it was a bone head move on my part i pull frames on trucks i thought to myself you are going to work and suffer through it to remind me not to do stupid stuff i am sure i won't do that again i have learned my lesson call a friend if thay can't help that day wait thank God it wasn't our necks.
Pain in a hand or foot can be just awful. That and your face. Sometimes God knows when you need to take a break more than you do. Just heal and don’t do anything else.

Get a knee scooter asap. Best thing in the world……..and you can pretty much do everything with a knee scooter. You’ll love it.
Get one of those scooters for people that has a broken foot.
