For their best car picks of 1991, Ted and Tony should have worn tuxedos, rather than their regular Cosby Show inspired fashions.
Ted gushes over the styling of the Passat, when it's pretty clear its styling was *heavily* influenced by the 1986 Ford Taurus exterior design.
I didn't realize it as a kid, but Ted comes across as somewhat of a blowhard at times. lol
Hilarious, that as Ted is complimenting the design of the Passat at 3:17,
the Passat looks exactly like the white Ford Taurus wagon approaching from behind.
That is not true. Passat styling is based on the Volkswagen auto 2000 concept from 1981. Taurus is copied from Audi 100 and that concept car.
@@aaknuuti That annoys me that people think Passat styling is copied from Taurus. When clearly it was just fashion trend in aerodynamics to create as smooth front end and overall styling as possible
