Beautiful song but I advise you to change the first string from time to time. The fluorocarbon ones weaken a lot in the first A note and always end up sounding bad if they are not changed frequently
Hi Nelson, great hearing from you and thank you for the comment. Yes, when I made this video my high E string was having some fretbuzz (which I then took and was adjusted by my luthier friend). I think that is what you may be hearing here (more so than the string itself, the vicinity to the fretboard)...
Anyways, interesting about the fluorocarbon strings, I've actually never tried them on my charango. I use Aquila Corde sugar strings that I've grown quite accustomed to, which are made from sugar derivatives...
And yes, so true, changing the first string indeed a very good idea from time to time. I'll be making some new charango videos soon, so you'll hear how the fretbuzz is no longer there:) Have a great day!
