Thanks for a great series, I’m going to run dragons of Stormwreck isle as my first foray into DMing and I cannot tell you how helpful these videos have been for me to get my head around this adventure and also how to make it your own!

Thanks for this and all the comments. Honestly, I always find getting back to that beginners mindset helpful. And once you've prepped something, or especially ran something, you can always take bits and pieces of it with you to whatever you run next

A professional what is the question, hahaha. I appreciate the comment, everybody's got a shelf of books they haven't run, the trick is to figure out how to learn and harvest from them
About to run the Compass Rose this weekend. We're all new players, so as we head over to Chapter 4 I'll ask the players if they want to keep playing with these characters. If they want 1 or 2 more sessions with them, I'm thinking of running Salvage Operations from Ghosts of Saltmarsh. If they want to keep playing longer, I want to lead them into Tyranny of Dragins: there'll be a message in the observatory from Sparkrender's father, who demands him to join him in a few days on his attack to Greenest. They can either get there by boat through Salvage Operation, arrive later with the help of another sailor, or maybe convince Runara to fly them so they have plenty of time to get the village ready
Awesome, tyranny of dragons is a great follow up to build on all the dragon themes and lore

Another good follow up campaign in my opinion would be Storm's king's Thunder. *SPOILER* The beginning of storm's king's thunder is notoriously weak before level 5, you could wrap up the first part in level 4-5, then do the rest of the campaign. It would go full circle at the end, since the secret bad evil girl is an ancient blue dragon. You could even make her the grandmother of Sparkrender.
I like that a lot actually. We’ve done LMoP and started Storm Kings at Triboar and enjoyed it. I really like heading back out to sea at the end of
